Tip: If you are connecting this to a farm like gold,raid farm then connect the output chest To a dispenser that spits the swords and whatever items you don’t want into lava if you didn’t already know

If it's a gold farm I like connecting the output chest to a blast furnace to collect gold from all the swords for extra gold 🙂

Put one single piece of item in the first slot (the one item you want to filter in) then in the second slot add 41 of the rename block, add 3 more of the renamed block in the 3 slot remaining (one in each)

Where the blocks step down at the back you need a layer of red stone, I missed this and it was happening to me, so make sure there are 3 lines of red stone behind the set up

Ps4, same problem. Have all the red stone… 41 items and it fills up the stack, doesn’t go into the chests.

I figured it out. I placed the red stone torches on the ground instead of on the side of the block. Same spot differently attach point. Went from not working to working Make sure they are on the side of the block, not the ground.

Overflow Issue- If the entire chests fills up, as well as the first hopper, the upper sorting hoppers in the area breaks, creating an eventual chain reaction if not constantly monitored. Is there any way to fix this issue?

If you need to sort non-stackable items, then you need to leave empty the funnel slot where the item should be in the amount of 41. Unfortunately, if you need to sort two such items, there is no way not to do it.But then the extra items will be added to this chest.

It’s impossible to make a tnt duper in bedrock so you would have to supply all the tnt manually

41 allows for the redstone signal to be small enough to leave the torch on. This means the hopper under is locked, meaning nothing can go through. Then, when more items flow, the redstone signal is strong enough to allow for items to flow, making it always filter that one item. Hope it makes sense to you

My mistake was putting the red stone torches on the ground instead of attaching them to the side of the block. Make sure the red stone torch is angled and not straight up and down.

This is about the 10th video I've seen with this exact same setup, but nobody has explained the 'why' or 'how' it works, they're all just parrots, repeating what others are doing. I wonder if anyone actually knows 'why' or 'how'...

I'll tell you how it works. So basically, the second row of hoppers needs the item you want sorted and the 4 extra items since if a hopper is full, no other items will be able to enter (filtering the given item). The reason you need 41 items is because it's the the perfect amount for the redstone signal for the redstone torch to stay activated to the hopper making it locked, meaning the items won't go in the chest so it will always filter the other item. The comparator is there to identify the amount of items in there so when more then 41 of the given item goes in it deactivates the redstone torch, allowing the items to go throughthen stop when it reaches 41 again, as I stated earlier. I don't really know if I make sense, but I hope it helps.

Nonstackables cannot be sorted, only as a whole for unstackable items such as enchanted books and swords and stuff. I'm using this for my gold farm to get rid of all the gold swords.
