The new Great Western Railway (GWR) class 800 and 802 Intercity Express Train (IET) which has replaced the much loved HSTs on services to the west from London Paddington.

They might me putting hsts on the paddington again because of the cracks and the problems with them

They look good but thats it. Piss poor build quality rock hard seats and now hairline cracks being found. The pacer of long distance train travel. If I were needing to travel long distance I would sooner drive thank you.

Nice! Is it possible 9-coach unit couples to 5-coach unit?
@SionsTrainVideos5 жыл бұрын
no because it would be too long

@@SionsTrainVideos yea would quite cool though you would be able to get more passengers per coach.
Is it me or does the Class 800 look a lot like a Cucumber 😂 great trains anyway and nice video liked and subbed.

The all over green livery does make them somewhat like a Cucumber it must be said.

Great location finding! Love these little out of the way spots to get your geek on :)

Jonathan Chester Many thanks. I really enjoy exploring the railway network in search of new locations to film from. Wish I could spend more of my time doing it.

I hope they electrify these places too

Emmanuel Ehinlanwo As far as I am aware there are no plans to electrify the Berks and Hants beyond Newbury.

@@LinesideSouthEast I know I'm so disappointed with the British government. Did you also know that the locals went to the British government for the electrification project to be extended to castle cary. You make very good videos. I hope you do another longer 800/801/802 compilation with both GWR and LNER. I also do plan on trainspotting, please can you tell me where you filmed this. Once again you made a great video:)

I love these trains!

Same here but they will never be as good as the HSTs. But time moves on I guess things like those old nice trains don’t last but the HSTs were built to last. It’s the same story with the IETs.

where is this location if its public?

If you referring to the thumbnail image this is Hungerford Common. It is a publicly accessible location, only recently became worth visiting after Network Rail cleared the line side vegetation and trees that were previously blocking a good view of the line.
