And let's not forget episode 15, the boulder-chucking episode that was so shameful that Tomino had it excluded from the US release... But pretty much everything from 14-18 was filler delaying the final confrontation with Ramba Ral anyway... I hadn't even realized that Doan's Island was next. Is it going to be included in this version?

@katie5000 Sorry, it's been a while since I watched Zeta. I paid a shitload of money for the "limited" box set when it came out, and was very disappointed with the translation... (subs, even...) Oddly, I remember Lila Rira (Galbaldy Beta, baby!) but even knowing who she is now I still have no clear memory of Mauer... I bet those Wappa pilots in the next episode are gonna feel foolish when they realize they could just shoot the bombs on the Gundam instead of just waiting around.

"the" gundam is pretty much the only one in UC with that kind of legendary status. The rest are (in-story and IRL) leaning on "the" gundam's reputation.

@DLAbaoaqu Yeah, I realized my mistake right after I hit post. I got the episode numbers right, at least... What I meant to say was that I didn't realize that Doan's Island was coming up so soon. What got me about Doan's Island when I watched it the first time was how different Doan's Zaku looked. It's like they tried real hard to make sure it looked heroic... But it just wound up looking kind of emaciated. Oh, and that girl with green hair... Unusual for Gundam.
