I always like to hear from Gwynn, a very smart and down to earth lady. I love to hear the banter between you both. A thoroughly loving couple Andrew. A perfect match for sure.

My mom and I have been waiting for Gwynn’s food workshop since you first mentioned it in the beginning of the year. Excited that it has been launched. Well done both.

Well traveled Cabbage, LOL.. We had one in a pub years ago, and a late friend of mine, did a Phantom of the Opera act, with a cabbage leaf as a mask.. Amazing just what a hotel full of grown men could come up with, with a cabbage as a main prop. 🤔🤨🤣 Gwynn, do you have a store of dried lentils, beans, chick peas, etc, as well as what you preserve yourself, interested to know. I grew up in NZ as a child, and picking fruit for preserving was a seasonal enjoyment for us kids, plums for jam and sauce, tomatoes for relish, chutney and sauces, apples, pears peaches, all the fruits and berries available, and meat was killed on sight, and dressed for distribution amongst the locals, it was a local barter system of trade. However, every home had a pantry full of preserves. Sauce bottles were dipped in hot wax to maintain a seal. Take care, stay safe. 🧐

Fantastic Gwynn & Andrew. Great stuff. I always found the planning/packing etc an exciting part of the whole trip process. A few years ago I started the prep/dehydration aspect.... and again, found that just as exciting... thinking about what to dehydrate, how you will use it, what meal(s), what method of cooking, etc... So I think that is also a great selling aspect for your course... it's not 'slaving over a hot stove at home before the trip'.... it's another exciting aspect... as exciting and pleasurable as breaking out the map and working out destinations/routes/activities etc. PS... I'll be doing the course... that's how much I enjoy the pre trip food prep! Cheers 🍻

A few years ago ,east of Albany, you had an encounter with an octopus; and I thought you should have called it ,The cry of the calamari.

Not a big fan of the pod casts...not that they are bad...I am just a visual learner...but this one was really enjoyable and brought back memories of travel with my family as a youth...everything jammed in the back of dads bj42...no fridge...basic food and mostly what we could catch as we travelled down coast or boating to islands. My wife was super interested in the food prep for camping etc...Cheers

Hi Andrew. As note on Patreon in the Live Stream today, the volume of the audio on "The Next Journey" podcasts is notably softer than on your other videos and other podcasts I listen to, I am not sure why. Find I have to turn it up much more.
