I got the next model up. I've had it 10 months. Had an issue with a loose wire on the breaker switch. Melted the breaker. They sent me a new one for free. She's working like a champ again. Check those connections.

I have a fill nipple on the compressor outlet >Quick connect, >filter housing, >hose, >Quick connect, 1st I avoid to build up any dirty in the hose 2nd no space issues at tanks, guns, whatever I think the handling of just an hose with QC is easier than having a bulky construction. You can also stand your gun up on the but plate let sit a while and dry fire pointing at the ceiling a couple times this will get rid of any moisture

I still use a filter but the Cx Pumps have a built in water separator.

i have a gx-cs2 and love it ....... its got about 30 hours on it and i just ordered new seals for the high and low pressure pistons as its slowing down on the fill times from 7 min to a lil over 10 (side note* i do use a large air filter between, so fill time is longer) i also own an urban and i just fixed THAT after a year of sitting with no use. The urban had an o-ring issue in the air tube on the valve side (not inlet side) it was a pain in the a$$ removing the side mounting screws but i got it. happy shootin!

I just bought the GX CS2, and got it on sale for just under $300. It works flawlessly so far. I'll add the extra filter soon. One question is, how do you know when to change out the filter? I'm rather new to the PCP side of airguns. Thanks!

Not trying to tell you what to do, buuuut, you should definitely be using a better quality air filter. Those cotton filters are no bueno. Obviously you're not filling super high quality airguns but it's still good practice to use the best quality and most dry air as possible

I am a complete newbie to airgun, may I know what happens if I forget to release pressure from the bleed valve before pulling the cable out of the gun? will I get serious injury?

The air will rapidly release, causing the hose to whip around and potentially hurt you or damage the gun.

I've been watching PCP Videos for several years now. I have seen the portable type compressors get smaller, less laborious, more user friendly, and less expensive. It's exciting. I have other airguns but nothing PCP at this time. With my other interests that suck up any "disposable income" such as reloading and firearms, I have not yet "bit the bullet" on a PCP airgun. And there is not a single place within 60 miles to actually fill a tank if I had one. Here's a stupid question, though: I know that it's only supposed to be run for 5 to 10 minutes at a time. If one were patient enough, letting it cool between uses, could this budget compressor fill a portable tank? Obviously that's not the smoothest way to fill a tank, but could the everyman do that? Thanks for the education!

I am in the same boat as you. I even checked with Fire Dep to fill tank but they declined due to liability concerns. As to your question the compressor does not know what it is filling. So I think that if you run it and adhere to the run/cool down time procedure you would be fine. Not the most efficient way to fill but filled. I saw two others that would run the compressor for 30mins in morn, cool till noonish run again, the coll till evening etc.etc.

I for the life of me don’t understand the misnomer out there about the avenger. You don’t need to fill it even close to 4300. I get tons of fills off a 64 cu ft tank. I hope people realize U don’t need a compressor to enjoy an avenger. Not at all

That’s true. I was obviously talking about filling it completely, but you can still get good shot counts with lower fills.
