Wait a moment.. I thought I never heard it before but it sounds so familiar.. Because it is the exact same recording as the one that exist with video from apparently the 22nd of April, 1967. They match a 100%! Only this version has much better quality.

Agreed, they sound very similar, the tone of the piano, although the sound quality is much improved, is almost the same of the 1967 concerto !

As far as I know that recording sadly was not made by Cziffra but by Rudolf Serkin

@@Felix_Li_En I would have to check for myself but piano345 bought the Cziffra album containing Carnaval op 9 & the Concerto and - irritated by the interpretation - sadly had to find out that the concerto was identical to Serkin's recording
