Man I gotta say GREAT JOB!!! Finally someone took the time and made a great video that actually displays every step they took, and cared enough to explain it so it's very easy to understand. Thank you so much bro, awesome job

Awesome job.. your video was the 1st one that I’ve watched that made it soooo easy to follow thank you… I’m waiting on my stator and to arrive from Amazon and then I’m gonna follow your lead when I start to do my upgrade to the 11 pole from my 8. Thanks again and keep up the good work!

Orange threadlocker might be a little too much for that.Blue is perfect.I must say i admire you,thanks for your common sense,been watching you tubers for years and never saw anyone except for 2 or 3 put threadlocker on the threads,especially because these engines vibrate a lot.I use all kinds of thread lockers..Safety first.I even threadlock the Head studs,Bottom and Top.I also threadlock the valve bolt and nuts..Valve adjustment makes no sense..Make sure to use the right type of threadlocker in every case..They're all made for different purposes.Some are High heat,Oil resistant,Permanent(Red), Semi permanent(Blue) Permatex Blue 24027 is great for use inside the engine because it is oil resistant and surface insensitive..I never go by the 24 hours cure time when used inside the engine,rather 72 hours or more to make sure it works as it should.

Thanks you so much for the information , I really didn't know there was much difference between all the difference threadlockers. I just knew the red one was for permanent bolts and the blue one for temporary or bolts that you will need to remove again in the future, I used the orange one because that's the only one I had at the time , but I really appreciate you for the info , thank you so much!

Hey thanks for the video. I am planning to do the same swap from 8 to eleven pole . Is it ok to use the same 8 pole flywheel in the 11 pole ? Im kinda on a budget. Hooe to hear from you soon . Greetings from Chicago.

Hi,i had to buy a new motor for my scooter.it came with an 8 pole stator my wiring harness is for the 11 pole.and my 11 pole is no good.how do i hook up the 8 pole to the 11 pole wiring harnes?
@OffshoreGuy36 Жыл бұрын
I thought when you went from an 8-pole stator to an 11-pole stator you also have to change the flywheel, or the timing would be off. Is this not the case?
@jmrbuilds Жыл бұрын
I compared the flywheel that came with the 11 pole stator and the original from the 8 pole stator and both where exactly the same , the scooter runs with no issues at all! Thanks for watching the video!

Hey bro, can you advice or guide me with chinese atv 6 coil swap with 8 coil? I m having low voltage issue.
@steveoh6252 жыл бұрын
Hello. When you put the black wire to the ignition switch from the voltage regulator what does the black wire do?
@jmrbuilds2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for watching. The black wire turns on power to the voltage sensing circuit so the regulator can do its job. It also turns off power so as not to deplete the battery while sitting.
@steveoh6252 жыл бұрын
@@jmrbuilds so i can add that wire to the red wire together or put the black wire to the negative side of the battery or ground it?
@jmrbuilds2 жыл бұрын
@@steveoh625 if you connect the black wire to the red one the battery is going to keep draining whe the scooter is off, because there is nothing like a switch that can prevent the voltage/ current from stop running when the scooter is off , and if you ground the wire the voltage regulator is not going to work and the scooter Is not going to be able charge the battery , so the only solution is to put the black wire to the ignition switch, that way when you turn off the scooter the battery won't drain and when you turn the scooter on the stator and voltage regulator will charge the battery
@steveoh6252 жыл бұрын
@@jmrbuilds okay thank you. I have my grounds going to my ignition switch because i am running 11 pole ac stator 6 wire voltage regulator rectifier and 6 prong ac cdi. I have a 3 prong ignition switch. 1 is frame ground 2 is cdi ground and 3 is ignition ground. So can i add the black wire to #2 on my ignition switch with the cdi ground? Or should i wire a separate switch for the black wire going to the negative post of my battery. I don't know where to put the black wire or what it does exactly. Thank you for your help!

@playsportfun3356 Жыл бұрын
Look up how a rectifier works. Shouldn't be a issue.
@thlee59023 жыл бұрын
Hi are you sure 15v at idle is not an issue? Shouldn't that be 14+ but never reach 15
@GYccUsefultips2 жыл бұрын
15 at idle is too much,It is just a matter of time until each bulb and regulator gets messed up...As a rule of thumb 13.00 and above is good..If voltage at high R.P.M is above 15,bring it down by adding a high wattage head light bulb or tail light..Not all chinese regulators limit voltage at the same level.Just manage the voltage load by adding or removing watts .I hope this helps I also added a fan to cool down the head and exhaust pipe and studs..I highly recommend it,and it is really easy and cheap.I have a video showing it..My head never goes over a 120 F here in the hot summer sun in Florida..Be safe every one.

Also remember that he has a pretty big headlight on the front that wasn't wire up during this test. Should be setting within safe parameters once that's hooked up
