When I was born, I had my umbilical cord wrapped around my neck twice. They immediately put me in an incubator and flew me to another hospital in a helicopter. When I was finally revived, I ate very little of my mom's milk, and what I did eat always came back up. The doctors did some x-rays and found out a part of my intestines was flat. It took 3 tries to completely fix it, and I have huge scars on my belly from the surgeries. I was in the hospital for a total of 2 months before I could finally go home. I could have died many times, but I came out alive and hit the ground running. I am a fighter, and that's why this song speaks so much to me. This song is my go-to for whenever I feel stressed out, depressed or discouraged. Listening to it has helped me through so much

I'm a junior high school basketball player in East Central Indians. In other words, the competition is tough. I go to a tiny 1a school that has only won one sectional. No one believes in our program, Jr high to high school. But my grade is the most talented in years, and people refuse to give us a chance. We played one of the best Jr high teams probably in the nation, and for lack of a better term, we played with more heart and passion and we gave them hell. 3 years ago I had a small health scare that freaked me out big time. I sat down and wrote out a bucket list of the 200+ things I wanted to do before I die. Thanks to that health scare I literally started living like I’m dying (even though I’m not). I made this channel to document my journey. My hope was that if people saw how amazing of a time I am having, they might do the same. A few people have already messaged me with amazing stories of things they’ve have gone out and done after checking out the channel. I need to leave this comment at least for myself. I first heard this song on my Nintendo 3DS in that video app where every other week, four new videos would be shown. Now, at two am, I lie in my bed in the same place where I first heard this song. I am reminded of how nothing mattered. And I now realize the full meaning of this song. As a kid I was content with the catchy tune and good melody. However I am now able to appreciate how powerful this song really is and how much it has helped so many people. I know that feeling. I was diagnosed with adhd and was bad at school. A few years ago I was suicidal and I wasn’t far from committing suicide. Now, I have two jobs with one being a research assistant to a professor of my college. I’m set to graduate with two associate degrees from the same college. I got my transfer acceptance letter to the university that has my degree but I ended up deciding not to go. But I am going to do a two year degree program that I’m currently applying for. Don’t give up. Keep going until you reach your goal but enjoy the journey. That’s the part that’s the most important than reaching the goal
