Evo crusher definitely feel like they have more bass I think because the ear cuffs are smaller but damn the evod definitely pack a punch I just bought the anc 2 and the quality is definitely a lot better but the bass does feel a little less but the sound quality feels decent and the noise cancellation does help add to the bass also I feel the bass all around my ear on the anc2 unlike the eco where it’s on my ear (I do have medium size ears ) at first I wanted to return my anc 2 for the evos just because the price is crazy but tbh ughh I just don’t want all that bass no more and tbh the anc 2 give a little less bass and a little more quality and that’s just what I want now.

@@crazy_afghan the ANC 2 has more bass than the Evo but the Evo's bass is already more than enough for the average consumer. If you want better battery life and an adjustable EQ I would go with the ANC 2.

From my testing, the Evo has a bit more rumble in frequencies between 35-45hz, but the ANC 2 retains more bass at lower volumes and kicks harder. It also has a smoother sound to it and is noticeably less choppy than the Evo when low bass is playing alonside a bass kick. Not just that, but it has less of a dropoff below 35hz, so low bass will just simply sound better on the ANC 2. But my favorite part about the ANC 2 is that the wired mode works beautifully. With the Evos, there would be a very noticeable hiss when you'd use them in wired mode while powered on. The ANC 2s on the other hand have zero hissing or buzzing when powered on in wired mode, which means you can enjoy the bass without having to deal with bluetooth lag while playing games. Plus, you get the DSP sound improvements as well. Side note: Just tested my ANC 2 in wired mode again, the feedback when powered on in wired mode is still kinda there, but you really need to focus on it in order to hear it. Its only really precievable in a quiet environment, and even then it is very very slight and still useable.

I use the hesh ancs and the difference between anc off and on is pretty much none to me. They sound pretty much the same.

I've had the crusher evo for like 3 to 4 years and i would say they are durable you can twist them and bend them quite a bit and they wont break and after all this time the plastic still doesn't make noise or anything i mostly use them at my computer and for me i use SteelSeries gg which is a eq and spatial audio app and it really makes them sound a lot better. also ill be at my computer for like 5 to 10 hours a day with the bass max and i usually charge them 1 or 2 time a week at night

@@nathanlovell4399 Thanks for letting me know bro. My recent headsets were all Razer (Kraken and Barracuda X), the plastics of the headsets always broke after a usage of time. That's why I'm asking for opinions on the Crusher Evo will be a great purchase for me. I will get one soon!

​Yea, my crusher wireless are durable asf. They got punched, dropped many times, scrapped on the side of the ear cups, and probably more I just don't remember but hasn't broken yet special the hinges @@robertcapule8762

depending on your size of your head relief. My skullcandy crusher wireless lasted me 2 years no damage but other yes it broke on them but because my head is small haha. suck for them

I have the Evo and they are Amazing and I love them. The App isn't as great because it doesn't connect automatically on the first try but still good. But the sound you get through the auxiliary cord is absolutely horrible. And I don't like the fact that the location has to be turned on for the app to run in the background on your phone which drains the battery quickly.

The comparison about the bass is complete crap pal.. The bass on the Crusher EVO is cleaner and has a faster response compared to the ANC 2. This means that songs relying on the kick drum pack much more of a punch on the EVO. ANC 2 sub range is muddier with a slower response on the attack and release. ANC 2s are still great, they are way more comfy

Hmm I have a decent ear for bass, I have produced liquid dnb and deep dubstep EPs. I tested the sound side by side with pure sine wave 30-80hz. There is a pretty evident difference at loud volume... I mean the haptics literally vibrate your head. Therefore oher aspects of the design such as the frame and ear cups could impact the bass, no?..

I bought the sony xm4 and got my 2 boys a set of skullcandy crusher evo my xm4 even with the eq all up and bass at 10 they sound low bass flat not punchy compared to my sons skullcandy crusher evo the evo sound 2x louder and nice punchier bass thinking about returning the sony xm4 for the skullcandy crusher anc 2 the only thing i like is the sony noise canceling other than that sound is weak even with the app and eq all the way up smh

I do not recommend the Hesh ANC, I have had two pairs and unfortunately both times I experienced the power button popping of the motherboard very easily. It’s such a small piece it is hard to solder back onto the motherboard :( just go for the upgrade imo

I have the old hesh and the only things is I dropped them and one side has a tiny tear in the speaker so I can't listen on higher volume. The app doesn't work as always but I'll pick up the anc 2 and see 🤞🏼

Tbh, I think it would have been nice to see a comparison between the first gen Crusher ANC and the ANC 2, especially with the ANC strength. Also, I find it surprising that you mentioned the ANC 2s having a lot more bass to them than the Evos, like The Evo's max being 50% on the ANC 2s. I've heard from a lot of people that the ANC 2's bass is weaker than the Evos. But I also do know that you can crank the bass in the custom EQ setting to add more bass to the ANC 2s. Is that what you did to get the results?

@@kadenstanley8536 Have you even tried using the custom EQ for the ANC 2s? Because the ones that have said that the ANC 2s provide way more bass than the Evos. Also, are you sure the Evos have more bass to them than the ANC 1? I've heard that they knock harder when set to their max setting. The Evos might be capable of having more bass at lower levels, but that's only because the slider on it is bugged and maxes out at the halfway point.

I just got the anc 2 cuz my crusher evos just stopped turning on for no reason like it was working fine few hours ago so had to try anc2 and man I kinda like the crushers more. They definitely have way more bass and it’s not even close. I miss my crushers I want to switch them now 😭

I hate the idea of getting my clean Skullcandy ANC2 pads and fabric sweaty every time I work out, over time they would get nasty. I save my ANC2 headphones for watching movies, PS5, and air travel.
