I had to put my gym in the master bedroom. It works! I’m a bachelor though.

It's pretty great to have full control of the house! Love it!

I've seen many examples of showing the 'finished product' of people's home gyms, but few if any of the progress of building one (Jujimufu is the only other KZbinr I've seen actually show the progress of one being built) so it's great to finally see more home gym progress build vids.

Thank you! I'm glad you are finding it interesting! I'm having a lot of fun with this project and can't wait for everyone to see the progress and how it turns out!

I am really enjoying these podcasts, Tim. On this one, what I’m taking away the “if I haven’t used it in a year, it’s outta here” rule. I’ve had a garage gym since Jan 2021 and I think I can benefit from this on the “garage” side and the gym side.

Thanks! That rule is hard to follow sometimes, but rarely wrong! My local Goodwill is the beneficiary of it about twice a year!

The gym sounds like it is gonna be great. I agree partially on the year rule, there will always be exceptions, but our culture does entice us to keep things we don't need. I also did the flooring from Ashton at Freedom, I have the rolls sitting outside my garage on their skid and will be using my old flooring to probably mae an atlas stone platform for competitions

Thanks! I can't imagie clearing out your gym to lay new flooring, you have so much equipment. Looking forward to seeing how it looks for sure. Ashton has hit a home run by carrying flooring now. It's nice to have someone who knows garage gyms able to provide so many options.

How dare you attack my precious horse stall matts?! Don’t you know I have my entire ego tied up into those smelly pieces of fine rubber?! Excited to hear what insight you might have on flooring. Next big move in my home gym.

😂Just wait! It's crazy how upset people get. Flooring episode (or maybe just a stand alone video) is coming soon! I just finished trimming out the floor today and am really happy with how it came out. No smell at all (the paing I used, on the other hand, is awful!) and looks awesome.

I bought a bigger home than we really wanted to just to make sure we had plenty of room for a home gym. Having a hard time deciding if I want the Major Fitness B52 or the Centr SF3 from Costco. Even been thinking of the Speediance Gym Monster.
@GymCrafter2 ай бұрын
If I could suggest none of the above? The more I use the B52 the less I like it. If you can up the budget just a little, check out ForceUSA. Sooooo much better and not much more $.

Good content but your intros are waaaaay tooo long. Takes way too long to get to the promised topic

Thanks! I talk a lot and am working on being more succinct. I appreciate the feedback. In the meantime, I am putting time stamps in the description so you can skip to just the parts you are interested in.

@@GymCrafter Hi Tim: just my thoughts. Be you and be natural. This is just your style. Of course there are lots of youtubers who just go boom boom boom and finish a video within 10 minutes. I have watched many of your videos, and you're like having a conversation with your viewers - I'm like having a cup of coffee with you, talking with and listening to you. And you're not rushing to end this conversation because you have something more important to get to. I like your style - personal, approachable, casual, explanation is clear, lots of stories and examples. Bottom line, I enjoyed watching your videos and I feel very comfortable listening to you. Great job!
