As a male pole dancer myself, I have say that you that you guys smashed it! Bendy Kate is like royalty for our community so you were in great, skilled and talented hands! Loved seeing how the transferable skills from gymnastics helped with the flips and tricks element of pole. But, it was equally hilarious how the pain showed on your faces for the grippy types of moves. Most people don’t realise how much pole hurts (to start off with) and how much effort and commitment it takes. Great video guys! You need to get Emily to do a lesson with bendy!! I found it hilarious that they casually rock the iron X on their first day, but fail to do 'simple' leg hangs that are much more achieveable for a lay person who does pole but doesn't have a pro gymnast's core strength or flexibility :D

Although it was their first pole class, they have probably over a decade of training in gymnastics. If you had been training pole for over ten years you’d be there too.
