Thank you man! You laid it out clearly for someone who isn't necessarily a handyman. Get after it and stay hard!

Great video. Have you tested it out by doing a swinging muscle up?
@joelydic6 жыл бұрын
I haven't because I just don't have enough room in my basement. Those jungle gym pieces are very heavy duty though. Hope this helps and good luck!

Hi Joe,I don't have access to the proper stuff cause I live in a shithole country but I'm using climbing ropes on the beams on my ceiling and they hold up quite well. But the problem is I don't have rings so can I use pvc or steel pipes instead? Will using horizontal instead of circular holds have a drastic difference?
@joelydic6 жыл бұрын
It would definitely be a bit different, but I guess it really depends on what type of exercises that you're going to do. I saw a video on youtube showing how to make your own rings from pvc pipe so you might want to check it out. The guy said that they were really solid as well. Thanks for checking out the video and good luck!

Joe Lydic can it also work inside a garage ceiling.
@joelydic6 жыл бұрын
This design should work on a garage ceiling, but it is absolutely imperative that you get into the ceiling joists if it is a finished garage. You definitely want to be sure that it is secure. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.

How thick is your floor? If I did that, screws would be sticking through the carpet upstairs.
@joelydic4 жыл бұрын
I believe the wood was 1.5 inches, the sub floor was .75 inches, and the hardwoods were .75 inches as well. Definitely a good point though. Thanks for checking out the video and good luck!
