Hello Joe, hopefully you still use this page, any suggestions for using 4x4 instead of 2x4 for legs?
@joelydic3 жыл бұрын
You could definitely do that. Just make a few modifications and you're good to go. Thanks for checking out the video and good luck!

If you have a table saw, do yourself a favor and cut all of your factory edges off. This will make everything square and remove the rounded edge which will make it 100 times easier to clean with a smooth top. . Then apply glue between each joint to make it MUCH stronger. Of course there are many different ways to improve your table, but I appreciate the value of a simple build. However I believe that these few extra tips are critical. Cheers!

I also recommend leaving your lumber in your house for atleast a few weeks to climatize. The lumber will shrink a ton after it is installed.

I f you reverse the direction you wrap the lace around the loop you will create a "strong" knot that will not come undone. No need for double knots with round laces.

THE ULTIMATUM KNOT for shoes. When you put your left hand side lace under your right hand side lace, that was it for me, DURABLE. When you double up the first round, 😯 WOW: THE WORKS... But when you double up the second round of the loops, THAT'S THE ULTIMATUM KNOT 🤨.

Is “Morena Pure Cane Sugar” OK to feed bees? Also, is “White Satin Powdered Amalgamated Sugar” made from beets OK to feed bees?
@joelydic3 жыл бұрын
Good question and I actually don't know. I've only ever used everyday white sugar. Might need to do a bit more research. Thanks for checking out the video and good luck with the bees!
@eberntson3 жыл бұрын
Cane sugar is preferred, but beet sugar works too. Some of the olde books don’t like beet sugar because it has a few more solids in it, and if you are in a cold climate where cleansing flights a few and far between it can cause issues. If you in a warmer climate you don’t need to think about it.

I have ceramic window sills. What could be a work around since they aren't wood? I'm afraid to crack them.

You definitely need another option. They actually sell reasonably priced set ups similar to this. Some of them are just suction cups on the window. Hope that helps and thanks for checking out the video.

It sounds weird but I was really skeptical of this. Usually at the end of the day my boots would always get untie even if I made a bow and a half knot. I tried this and it kept the tightness in my work boots and held all day going up and down ladders and walking over 11 km
@joelydic3 жыл бұрын
