Great video. I have 2 sets of dumbbells set to 35lbs and 10lbs. I have an ez-curl bar set to 20lbs. I have the pull up bar for the door frame and a adjustable bench. I will get those gym rings, elastic bands, helper bands, some bar stools for dips and massage balls. Thanks Gymnastics Method💪

For dips and shoulder pushups you don't need parallets. You can do those on rings as well.

Good list. Ceiling mounts are great for suspension trainer, rings and bands. Safer than doors and can set up 3 or 4 pairs. If have a solid door frame, Duonamic Eleviia is great too.

If you are absolutely money limited or moving and traveling often, you can use 2X chairs/bar stools and a broom stick for everything. Can also use bicycle tubes instead of resistance bands (old Judoka trick), any bicycle repair shop will give you the used punctured ones for free. Can also use construction bricks for weights, usually free or cost practically nothing, weight vary 4-8kg, some have holes/space you can get a rope/chain through them for weighted exercises.

Be VERY careful of any door trim used as an anchor. They are no made to hold that type of weight. Even the bar that goes across to each jamb can crack the finish, especially on interior hallway split jamb doors. Now think about wrapping something over the door itself and pulling your weight up. THE HINGE Screws are not able to hold and carry that weight. Find a different solution, Everyone!

Don't forget to check around your neighborhood for an outdoor gym. If you can find at least a set of monkey bars, buying rings and a set of pull-up assistance bands goes a long way. Also for added weight, water bottles in your bookbag is an easy weight measurement: 1 Liter = 1 Kg. Just don't tear your bookbag like me!

An alternative to the 200$ freaking dollar fitness weighted vest would be a cheap plate carrier for like 50$ and then just buy your preferred weight plates (sports plates not actual body armor plates) for another 30 to 50$, this halves the initial reported price. Source: Me, this is what I did to have a weighted vest set-up and that's around what it costed me.

Some KZbinrs recommend making your own parallettes out of a broomstick, but that is too thin, so it will hurt your fingers. Olympic P-bars are 4 cm thick, and that is about right.

There is also pickaxe handle, very similar to gymnastic p-bars, but it is too thick for my taste.

How much can a gymnast like You bench press max? Or do even gymnast bench press at all in their workout schedule? Cause you gymnast do triceps dominant exercises all day long. So your bench press strength must be above the roof.
@alanequi27867 ай бұрын
The Swedish men's gymnastics team was tested to see how much they could bench press. Many were able to do 2x bodyweight, but most had never tried bench pressing before in their entire lives.
