@@redwoodrebelgirl3010 she served her time. although what she did was wrong and she deserved to go to jail, the things her mother was doing to her since she was a child was horrible and i don't think Gypsy saw any other way out of it. based on the things i've read and heard about her case and her childhood in general aren't pretty, and it's logical that at some point a human being would get tired of being abused. i'm not exactly defending her, because she did help murder another human being, but i'm just trying to point out that her childhood was extremely traumatic and while a traumatic past doesn't excuse her actions, it's an explanation as to why something like this can happen over time. so to summarize, what she did was horrible even though her childhood was absolutely horrific, she went to jail and served her time just like she deserved, and now she's out. i hope she goes to therapy for the next few decades if not the rest of her whole life and gets the chance to become a better person and get to live a life.

She absolutely should have made different choices that did not involve taking her mothers life. With that said…she underwent over 30 completely unnecessary (key word) unnecessary ….surgeries and medial procedures, this is well documented. -Removal of her salivary glands -Installation of a feeding tube -Given up to 15 unnecessary Medications (such as anti seizure meds) that affected her growth. -removal of many of her teeth affecting her jaw development. -she was given a surgery to make it so she can’t throw up… -multiple eye surgeries -the list goes on and on…. She was emotionally abused, manipulated and controlled. She went from “prison” with her mother to an actual real prison. She absolutely is a victim in every way. So with all that said above. I do feel like Gypsy rose needs a tremendous level of help. She’s a known liar and manipulator… it’s how she was raised, she knows no different. I don’t know what the answer is… but I have a feeling this whole situation is going to end very poorly… Like her or not, Gypsy Rose is a victim in every way. Her mother was severely mentally ill (obviously) and Gypsy had no chance for a normal childhood from the get go. But I don’t think she should be on reality TV, I think that’s wrong. I do think she should of gotten a lesser sentence as she was medically tortured for her entire upbringing… she wasn’t even aware of her real age!! It’s a mess. I truly don’t know what the answer is to this situation.

Microcephaly can be caused by a chromosone disorder and recently both Gypsy and her father have admitted that she does have a chromosone disorder. People with microcephaly are small in stature, have small heads, buck teeth, receding chins. Look up images of people with Microcephaly and you will undesrstand and see why Gypsy looks the way she does. You will also understand why greedy Gypsy and Kristy have not sued any of the doctors. DeeDee did not have Munchausen. Gypsy is in fact microcephalic. Gypsy's brain didn't fully develop.

I always felt like she genuinely thought she had no other way out. Statistically, victims like her tend to wind up six feet under because the perpetrator either puts them there with ongoing abuse or willfully wanted it to end so they wouldn't get caught. DeeDee was already suspected of murder within the family, and a second attempted murder. Via the same kind of setup she would later form with her daughter. I honestly believe that Ryan did love her, I think she definitely manipulated and used him. Do I think he was a bit controlling from what I saw on the show, kind of but I also think he just didn't know how to navigate teaching her about life when she got out of prison, I think he thought he was being helpful but it came off as controlling. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Not saying I'm a Ryan fan or a fan of any of them but I really do feel like he had good intentions.

I think staying single, learning who SHE is, making some friends is the best things she can do but if she must date it absolutely shouldn’t be men who preyed on her in prison when she was in a vulnerable situation. It’s gross, it’s like the people who write serial killers. That’s not the sign of a healthy, well rounded human in society & that’s concerning when she’s already gone through so much. She’s now got fame & has to be even more careful of what people’s intentions are for her.

I don't see her as vulnerable. I see that from a very early age she learned how to lie and manipulate people and never to acknowledge how her actions effected others. She and her mom took advantage of so many kind hearted people and charities. She shows by her actions and words that she does not understand the feelings or emotions of others, nor does she even care. It is always just about her and how much money and attentions she can get. She has no remorse, she has no real love for others. I actually feel very sorry for her. This mental/emotional state is not healthy nor does it lead to real happiness.

I know her mother was awful but I believe Gypsy was so angry that her mom kept her sick and like a little girl she wanted her dead I don't think she tried to get away from her or runaway I think she just wanted her dead and she knew ppl would feel bad for the disgusting abuse she received. Gypsy said on the show that Ken was into short haired blondes so she would cut her hair with nail clippers in prison to make him notice her more and swoon over her or whatever…. Then she gets out, leaves Ryan someone who was all about her and crazy about her just the way she is and she dyes her hair blonde and cuts it… she seemed much happier and comfortable with Ryan. Her and Ken are awkward together and just don’t jive, she tries to be someone she’s not around Ken.
