People did used to always get annoyed at me for breaking a flake of hay in half. Unfortunately, there was no other way. My pony is a really easy keeper, and could only get a partial flake at each meal. I had to choose between a foundered pony and people being annoyed. The health of my pony won out. Now my ponies are at home. No more issues.

A couple weeks ago, one of the volunteers at our horse rescue was mucking stalls and I kid you not, he set down his pick, knelt down on the ground and started PICKING UP THE POOP WITH HIS BARE HANDS AND PILING IT IN HIS ARMS and then carried it over to dump in the cart. I just kind of stood there and stared... it was awful

hi. i'm a newbie working as a volunteer at a ranch. i'm proud i understood most of the psycho bits ☺but...i have questions about 2 of the scenarios...when you tie a horse to a post, what did she do wrong? was it that the knot was messy? also, the MSM medication, is it that she used her dirty hands to mix the food? or is it that she was just sloppy preparing the food?
