I love how accurate this is for people that actually own them. xD. I don’t have the property for a horse but I do go out to a farm to for horseback riding. Started about a month ago. The teachers allow brushing, feeding, hoof cleaning and let you put the tack on your horse so I get to see some of the work but not nearly what the owners are in for. When I told my friends that I was riding, the first thing that came to their mind was trail rides. My father assumed I was playing an online horse game and it was in my head and my mother thought I just stood next to the horse to take pictures. My grandma believes I’m throwing money into a bon fire for fuel.

I still miss him so much, BUT what I'm doing now in retirement, is being a horse camp host for Oregon State Parks. They are desperate for experienced horse people since a green horn don't know the difference in trail conditions commensurate to the horse's trail experience. For instance, there are 3 trails at Emigrant Springs in Eastern Oregon that range from a nice packed fire lane to a swampy back forest trail, definitely NOT for green horses. PLUS, as a Horse camp host, I get to get Eskimo kisses from the ponies that come to visit, and enjoy the fabulous fragrance of "horse sweat & leather". You know, if an Asian perfumery was able to make a "fragrance" that smells like a Burger King Whopper, you'd think they could come up with "Horse Sweat & Leather." Happy trails, Ms. CharLee🙋‍♀ Nikki🐕 Angel-van🚐

I have to admit, that is one calm horse. For those that don't know, often horses freak out when you rattle a trash bag in front of them. I have often seen horses that were hard to load into a trailer, but they hop right in if you rattle a trash bag behind them.
