We are Indians but living in Nepal for more than 15 years...and it is a really good place...happy people everywhere.... Explore Trout fish farm in Badikhel if you are still in Kathmandu..they cook really nice. Try to explore Jiri (they call it Switzerland of Nepal) And definitely try Pokhara....🙂🙂🙂

Awesome.! Nepal is beautiful and the people there are so simple and genuine. Kathmandu has many things to explore. Nepal has so many temples and Buddhism and Hinduism are the main religions and since it's a country depends on tourism a great extent, vendors charge you much higher than the actual cost.! So bargain is a norm 😊.!

You can take the Kukhri (Knife) with you in your check in luggage, may be a bit smaller than the actual size and keep the receipt of the purchase to show at the airport saying you are taking this as a gift. I have personally done that and shouldn't be a problem.
