Man as someone who had 4 surgeries an took tons of opiates , this guy is high rn as he speaks on it.. that soft heat raspy voice is the opiate voice

Snapped my femur at Red Bud when I was 12 years old on an 85. The amount of opioids that were prescribed after surgery at 12 was SCARY.. Thank God my parents were able to see where that could lead and didn't let me go down that road.

I was concerned because he has that voice you get when you're high.

Its not easy but you have to push through it. I broke my back in March of this year T5,6,7,8,9 and 10. Not a single pill came out of that bottle of oxy and I pushed my mind to get back to training and racing as fast as possible. Kudos to those who are able to get clean after using for weeks, months or even years. Its a scary road to go down but im glad to see people can find a way out. Much respect 🙏

My cousin, steven, back in about 05-07, crashed so many times at LLQ, so many surgerys. He got hooked on the prescriptions, they sold the track, the farm land, gambled it all away. Caused my mom to sell my mini with no upgrade to the 85s. Didnt ride a dirt bike for 8 years or so. No racing in my entire life because of it

Your right bro, it is easy to get on the other side and stay there. I was a rockcrawler and have been in ov 50 harcore rollovers and cartwheels. The pills worked until they didnt. TBH i thought it was easy to get to the other side abd stay there. That said my crew is totally different

Not trying to just Bash on buddy. But from my personal experience and knowledge I would bet money he's high during this interview. But that doesn't mean all is lost. Relapse is a part of recovery.

This is a problem in all areas of pain management. Doctors are worried about bad reviews. Patients are looking to avoid all pain, and it's intimated that this is possible. So, doctors over prescribe, massively. Example, a friend broke his collarbone cycling, and was prescribed 90 oxytocin. 90! I broke my hand and told the doctor I didn't want any, and she insisted on at least 10. I threw them out. The Perdue family was sued massively, but yes, they should be in jail.

I seen someone getting 120 30s and 90 kpin 2s for ONE MONTH EVERY SINGLE MONTH lmfao the doctor needs to face extremely harsh punishment too

Being addicted to drugs is a choice, I think… let me explain. After 45 years of racing (25 years at a professional level in 4 different sports), I often tell people… luckily at this point in my life, only everything below my hair hurts, but the good news is my hair doesn’t hurt and I still have hair. 😂 I’ve pretty much wrecked everything. I’ve taken pain medication and never once when I would take it did I say, that was awesome give me more. Even with my recent 8 broken ribs which put me in the hospital for a week. I would take opiates to get me over the hump and then I was done. I do take ibuprofen on a semi regular based and that does the trick for me. So it’s made me wonder if narcotics affect people differently. I’ve also grown up in a family of alcoholics and drug addicts, so I’ve used the way they have wrecked and killed themselves as an example of what not to do. I know I come from the same addictive genes, I just choose to focus those addictions towards positive things. That’s why I said being an addict is a choice.. I think. Do opiates not have the same affect on me as others, or is it my desire to not be a drug addict? Or a combination of both. I don’t know. Ironically, pro motocross and supercross introduced me to healthcare at an early age and that’s where I ended up working post racing. What do I do in healthcare? I monitor and sedate people for procedures. So I get to see both sides of it. But I still feel for the most part it’s a choice. Maybe just based on circumstance or genetics, the choice is harder for some. I don’t know.

I don’t think anyone should go to jail for pharmaceutical overdoses. You popped them in your mouth. You became addicted. Take responsibility.
@jackhansen73059 күн бұрын
If addiction was that simple and easy, it wouldn’t even be talked about.
@GodlyLiving4me9 күн бұрын
@jackhansen7305 they sell alcohol everywhere, alcohol companies do not get sued for alcohol poisoning and drunk driving accidents. People are responsible for their actions not companies.
@jackhansen73059 күн бұрын
@ alcohol companies did not falsify tests and pay off doctors to over subscribe pills for profit. Drug companies have abused people’s trust in doctors for years, some people can be addicted to opioids from the moment they start.

You didnt have to take anything 🤷🏼♂️

20 plus surgeries and many broken bones in my past. Heavy doses of pain killers so many times I can't even count with zero issues for me quitting them. It takes a certain addictive personality to get addicted. Now the doctors treat us all like addicts.

Shit part of the world but that kinda stuff needs to be extremely heavily regulated. I’m usually completely against all regulation but I’ve witnessed my entire home state get wiped tf out. Good hardworking ppl not just flat out junkies. Deindustrialization + pumping the streets full of drugs, followed by totally killing the pharmaceuticals and replacing them with fentanyl created a hellscape and I have an extremely hard time believing it isn’t all 100% on purpose. I take it ppl like you have never seen just how egregious the scripts/reasons for prescribing were. Sorry it sucks for you and others but i personally know 15+ ppl that are dead as a direct result of the streets getting flooded with pain pills by piece of shit pharma companies/doctors
