GYPSY TALES

Күн бұрын

About 10 years ago Adam and I sat down to record an interview in the Florida home of a 17 year old Adam Cianciarulo who was in preparation for his professional debut. AC is now 10 years into his career and he is one of the most liked, loved and followed guys in the sport. He has also had more set backs in his life than most, but in spite of it all is the happiest he has ever been.
We had been wanting to do this podcast together for years and we were finally able to make it happen, in person, in Costa Mesa California.
Thanks so much for supporting the member site. We have a boat load on content on the way!

The fact that Kawi resigned him is unbelievable! Just because he can do some fast laps, he can't stay on the bike at that speed or finish at that pace. Yep you're fans alright but can't see championship quality? They were going to let Anderson go? Even though I have 3 Kawi's, I'm completely embarrassed to be associated with the brand...

Hi mate, appreicate the comment but I think people need to understand the "show" we make here. It's a conversational podcast, not an interview. This clips is about 50/50 between Adam and I having a back and forwards conversation. It's also been specifically clipped from an over 3 hour conversation. If you listen to the full podcast you'll hear a lot more of Adam than me - which is always the goal. But yeah, just keep in mind these are specific clips designed to get people clicking in the hopes of them listening to the full piece.

I think *Jetts* riding style is like *Kenny* with the added endurance (or younger *Kenny)* When it comes to *Chase* who is riding the same speed as *Jett* but *Jett* had to starts. He didn't have to chase down *Sexton*accepting a couple Moto's *Chase* started up front but would make mistake early. I don't think we're going to see anywhere near that dominance in *SX* as we did a in *MX* for two reasons. One we're likely to have a healthy field & two it's more timing based *SX* is a totally different animal on a *450*

I was just watching MXA's 2024 crf450 review. They claimed you can ride the Honda at 80%, but when you push beyond, the front gets twitchy, and tucks in turns. My thoughts are chase is a front end feel rider, and jett is more rear steer, and doesn't push the bike.

Look at all the KOOKS who believe in AC. I'm not sure what you're looking at? But for sure you "FANS" don't know who is Championship material? Now that the 450 class has a deeper field, He's back in 10th where he belongs. Kawi keeps wasting money on this guy, The management is LAME! To bad Mitch Payton isn't running the 450 team because AC would have been GONE a long time ago...

What’s he supposed to ask him? Asking ab competitors allows a look into what a person is like and how they view their peers. Football players get asked ab other teams and bad games all the time, same with fighters and every other sport.

Go check out his motoacademy stuff. You can see the stuff that he teaches, come out in his riding, and why and how he is able to send it and handle things that would normally toss people off. They 100% concentrate on helping people being efficient and riding effectively. They're constantly talking about how they respect what the bike has to offer vs where people just muscle it around and wear themselves out.

For Jett it’s his ability to ride light for sure! The major difference in Jett and chase is body weight chase must be around 15kg heavy if not more then Jett?! In a sport where we change out bolts to titanium to shave some weight of the bike rider weight matters! Softer suspensions were it out for minimising hitting the deck his change at SMX second moto was to softer setting and boom back to moving through the field. While we watched barely anyone able to move through the pack. Cheers Gypsy

The only thing that separates bad riders from good riders, is how “in tune” they are with their hand and eye coordination, mental picture of where your body position is in “space-time”, to the point where the bike is just another limb apart of your body. you know what the bike is going to do before you do something because it’s apart of you. It’s like picking up an object with your hand, you don’t have to think about it, you don’t have to do calculations in your head, it just happens. Bad riders are thinking too much about grabbing the object instead of just grabbing the object.

I live the maturity AC has! I still remember in sx early on him craahing anf having his shoulder popped back in and trying to ride. I love hearing he knows where he is at and where he needs to bw and not croaaing that line. Big lesson for all riders!
@chaseD707
@chaseD707 Жыл бұрын
Ya the thing that spectates the top few guys from the top ten guys is figuring out how to ride fast and efficient consistently without feeling like your out riding your skill and pushing so hard to go fast that you go down all the time. You have to find a way to ride at the same speed as if you where riding balls to the wall barely able to hold on to the bike but doing that with less effort and being in full control of the bike. Ride the bike like you would a horse, the horse just like the bike does it’s job and you as the rider separately adjust to the horse to stay on and go fast. Then you and the horse find a groove with each other and you mesh together so well that you know exactly what the bike does in every situation so you know what to do to counter those actions

Jace falling back into the old format of being an Askhole: ask the guest a question only to finish the guests sentence for him. Askhole: ask a question to facilitate you making a statement. Jace, if you want to simply do monologues then do an opinion show/podcast where you don’t have a guest. Don’t invite a guest on as a front for you to spill your own thoughts.
