Well done for speaking up and calling them out, I’ve been saying exactly this for years.The greed is killing MXGP and they wonder why the riders are sprinting to the US.🤦

Mxgp makes enough money yo pay riders. That’s so insane they don’t make any money or get prize money. They’re risking everything ever time they get on a bike. I thought they least made a lil bit compared to us guys. They all should leave mxgp and come to us! They still should get paid better in us for what they risk but nothing really

MXGP is toast. The top guys are already coming to the US. The rest will be the local guys and nobody is coming to watch that. Its on its way out. 2 maybe 3 years and goodbye

😂😂😂 give over nothing has changed in 30 years, same old same Old, every few years a few guys go to the states that wanted to go before they turned pro. We’ve got plenty of talent coming through the EMX series. America should be worried more it’s how weak their amateur program is & lack of top rate talent coming through in the 250. So many guys 30 years old taking rides away from youngsters

You are clueless. I live in Spain and the crowds are huge. Even at the Enduro GP tracks the crowds are huge. A local MX race will draw a large crowd.

I'm really keen to see what they do with the Australian round next year. Darwin isn't exactly the go-to motorcross place. I feel like there were plenty of better options, and I really hope it succeeds, and a truly rad track is built for it

Finally somebody with a bigger audience gets it: - Teams/riders pay to line up behind the gate - Track owners pay to host a GP - Spectators pay to visit the GP - TV viewers pay to watch the livestream Everybody pays money but infront/youthstream/mxactiongroup (they had many names along the way...) What do we get? - more an more tracks on parking lots - races with nearly no spectators - gates with 15 to 20 riders instead of 40. - more and more teams are stopping. That's not the way to grow the sport I guess.

The guys at MXGP are complete morons (the sport could be huge) but they just want quick money instead of long term growth, kinds sounds like small time criminals 😂💀

Jase, I hope you really stay on this, same thing with the series in the US. I understand this is tricky ground, because you could easily end up in Cooksey town. I'm not looking for anyone to get destroyed, but whatever the TRUTH is, it needs to be presented.

Due to the payment issue. It has not always been like that. That changed when the Italian mafia bought the whole MXGP circuit. It used to be stacked of people wanted to qualify as well, and now there are not even full gates. The price for participating used to be 50€\$ and if you qualified u got your money back, and the better result the better u got payd. Just like in the us. When the mafia bought the circuit riders had to pay 1500€\$ in cash to race. They literally collect the cash in a big IKEA bag 😅Even in the European championship which is supposed to be the “low budget version” you have to pay almost the same amount in cash to race. It has ruined motocross in Europe unfortunately. Now the only riders who can race is those who are fortunate enough to have parents ore others with deep pockets, just like the rest of the Motorsports 😑

Imagine how many people would pay $10,000 each to play in the world series of poker every year if it didn't pay any money out. 0.0 If you can't win money as a professional racer, you're not technically a professional racer. These guys are essentially really fast billboards.

create a riders association... F1 has one. MXGP will not listen to one rider. But if the track is bad, not getting paid enough and the whole association are saying: You give us half a track... we race one heat and go on strike for the second... they listen. Like Portugal racing with a thunderstorm... its insane

They get paid by sponsors and if you’re in a factory team you get paid by the manufacturer as well. Like MotoGP does it & that has way more money that motocross
@mxlarge6915
@mxlarge6915 4 күн бұрын
More factory teams in MXGP and MX2 than ever in the sports history....Seems the manufacturer don't agree as Yamaha, Kawasaki, KTM, Ducati, Triumph, Honda, Husqvarna, Fantic, and Beta all support the series. Tracks and local promoters lining up to get a GP. Man, how about telling the facts. More television in the sport than ever before. Started the Saturday qualification race, which was said was terrible, and now MotoGP, F1 and many other motorsports do the same thing. Sports in great shape and wish media would just be positive about our great sport and not go for click bate. Between MXGP, MX2, EMX and the womens classes, more riders at a GP than ever before as well. Not one riders struggling to get home from a race because he didn't quality. Back in the day, a lot of riders raced in their parents money.

Why did it need changing from how it was in the ‘80’s and 90’s? Great tracks, great bikes, full gates, big crowds, very little (if any) track prep, great atmosphere… ok a bit of dust sometimes, riders learned to adapt to dodgy bits of track, …don’t remember any real moaning… it’s not MotoGp or F1, stop trying to be!
