Sick for sure! But I would like to see the top pro's have to run them. With no aftermarket parts at all. They can only make the setup with what we the customer's get when we buy one. I bought 2- 2021 yz450 brand new. They are a little diffrent so even if they did use a stock bike. They would be a little diffrent.

I’d love to see it go back to 125, 250, and open class with no handicapping the 2T. No pointing out of the 250 class so there would be two “premier “ classes.

The privateers need their own class top 5 get factory rides and the the factory class bottom 5 give up their factory rides. Would make racing way more interesting. Stock bikes in the privateers class with only suspension mods allowed.

Supermini class for one coast. Pro am/privateer class for other coast. 250-450 runs the whole series. Only satellite teams until you go pro. Then teams will actually invest in guys who do well in the lower series.

The Aus SX just showed the AMA what they need to do. Combine the 250's and introduce MX3/lights for 14-17 year olds. Then at Amatuer level remove supermini class and have the kids go to 125cc 2 stroke or a 200cc four stroke. Make sure the factories can't sign young riders or else they loose eligibility to race amatuer races. Amatuer races should be just that and not filled with semi or full factory riders.

Back in my day when a higher up class or classes racer raced in a lower class. It was called sand bagging. AMA call police this from happening. As you go up thru the class levels you can no longer drop down. Besides when someone does that and wins. Who did they really beat? They were only racing themselves in my mind!!

I used to race snowmobile hillclimbs professionally and the classes are pro and semi pro and then by stock, improved, and mod. I think that’s how they should do moto/supercross. It’s ridiculous to have a talented guy riding a totally stock bike in the same race as these factory bikes. It’s stupid, it’s not even the same race.

I don't like the OEM idea then you get a rules and balance problem. Can you revalve your forks on a OEM class what about levers foot pegs triples and motor mounts?

They do have the minor leagues, it’s the 250 and 450 privateers. The pay out structure is so horrible those guys are basically paying to get on the gate. And they’re treated like crap for the most part. But as long as they can sucker those guys to keep showing up, you have your minor leagues.!!!!!!

Why have a shootout of the bike brands, when the top pro's are not on the stock bike. With only changes that are made for then with only what you can do with the stock bike. When I go buy a bike truck our car. It's on what I like . The look the comfort and what options it has. Not by what's winning. I have and do now from time to time race dirt bikes. I'm in my late 50's. I also have been apart of diffrent kinds of race cars. Such as 1/4 midgets, midgets, modified and 360 sprint cars. The teams I been apart of we where champions in all but the 360 sprint cars.
