The Industry is full of stories like this,the same was said about Bradley Smith when he was at tech 3 (I've known Bradley since he was a kid racing Mx,his family's money comes from his grandpa,who sold an Mx practice track so that a service station could be built on the land, around £17 mil if I remember) There's probably some truth to the rumours, but don't be fooled, money only gets you so far. If you don't have the talent to go with it, you ain't going to make it. Arthur will get his day.

Mortgaging the home is not a huge deal. If your looking for Money/Capital/Equity Mortgaging the Equity on the home is the best tool the common man can do to obtain resources.

I think the downsides is if you lose your job, and end up losing the home. Or support your kid’s dream, and then they arent serious about it or just give up. You then have a debt with nothing to show

@@rubberonasphalt if you lose your job you would or could lose you home even if you never taken out a Mortgage . Most 2nd liens are interest only. Besides even if you paid off your whole home. You still pay Property Taxes every year and if you don't pay those the city can take your property too. Again it's the best way to unlock money. Better than selling stuff better than a unsecure loan better than anything out here. Low rate at interest only payments for 20-30 yrs amortization periods.
