GYRO COPTER BUILD - Scrap Mechanic

Today in Scrap Mechanic I built a gyro copter!
A gyro copter is a self leveling aircraft and I'll be showing you how to build it.

15:02 tip: thrusters can be connected to the logic gate on gyro, and logic gate can be connected to button. id doesn't affect anything but helps to keep order

Simply amazing strait to the point tanks to your tuto I was able to make a gyrocopter (helicopter with gyro) with if you don’t tutch it stay don’t move like it can stand mid air on its own for decades

question is the upper block of suspensions welded with the beam or blocks next to it and are the suspensions just for looks or not

It’s kind of confusing to explain lol but the suspensions are welded to each other and no the suspension glitch in this game makes whatever it’s attached to stay upright hope that helped!!!

I appreciate the video. I built "or attempted to build" this in survival and either I messed it up completely or due to the differences between survival and creative are causing me issues. I can get it to hover but as soon as I push w I just spin in circles. The gyro's are staying upright but the vehicle spins in circles and if I push a or d, then it really goes out of control. I have adjusted the front and back thrusters numerous times and I just can't get it to stop spinning and fly flat like yours. I have tried flipping the front thruster in both directions and that hasn't helped. What direction do you have the front thruster pointing and do you have any other suggestions to get it to stop spinning and fly flat?

Yeah it sounds like the suspension glitches aren’t working in survival maybe test and see if they work before changing anything else. But wow how cool I think you’re the first to attempt this!

@@LittleCornDogsGaming on the main vehicle part "not the gyro's", you only have the 1 suspension glitch on the bottom correct? If so I believe it works as the vehicle turns left or right when I push a or d. I also did the paint test you did in the video and that worked. For the Gyro's, I'm pretty sure they are also working as I also lifted one end of the vehicle after the gyro's where connected and the gyro's stayed up in the correct position and didn't flip.

@@LittleCornDogsGaming Do you have the thruster in the front of the vehicle and thruster in the back facing the same direction or are they facing different directions?

by the way where do you get the colored engines and such like you have them as the base colors not talking painted but the base colors as these engines and pistons look cool

At 4:45 into the video you weld the shock glitches to the center post. How do you do that as I can't even pick up the shock glitches being it has a bearing in it which is a moving part so it refuses to even let me pick it up and if weld the center post to one of the Shock Glitches I then cannot pick that new unit up and weld it to another of the glitches. I followed your video on how to make the glitches so they should be fine unless it's shock specific as I just was using the default shocks being I could not find the ones you were using so assumed they were modded shocks. Do the glitches have to be build on the lift individually in order to be weldable as I just tested that and seems to work but wanted to confirm.

@@LittleCornDogsGaming Thats what it turned out to be on your glitch video I saw you build it on your lift and I tried that and then removed the lift once completed and then I could weld the glitches to the center post. Got it flying but still tweeking it need to up the thruster that pushed forward as it's just crawling forward at level 1 but with some upgrading am sure will go faster forward but at least it goes up HA HA By the way most of mine is wood scrap and the angle blocks. Would doing it all in metal be an issue so the paint-job matches or will the metal weight be an issue???

Ether one of the suspension glitches are on sideways and not vertically or the turning suspension glitch has no block on the end of it. Hope that helped
