I wish I could use Steam Input to play Valorant. I tried rewasd, but I much prefer Steam Input. Something felt off with rewasd.

It could be the weird acceleration curve it's got. Go to extras and make sure the line reads straight from bottom left to top right for as close to linear as you can get. Still might feel a little weird.

Can you not use steam input with it? You can add non steam games to your library

No. Valorant will block steam inputs mouse. It's anticheat doesn't allow it. You can use either reWASD or DS4Windows however. They both fake mouse drivers that trick the anticheat into thinking you're using a real mouse.

In your opinion, who do you think is going to win Controller with gyro or Phone with gyro (plays with 4 finger) Both are experience in using gyroscope

If no aim assist, controller + gyro would win for sure because you get to have better grip + tactile feedback for the buttons you press

@@tekgeekster Also, no flick stick? I feel like CS:GO and Valorant are THE two games that would MOST benefit from it. The pros use incredibly low sensitivity on the mouse in these games so havnig that same precision while at the same time being able to do a full 180 turn in a single frame sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

@@tekgeekster How do you lose ability to track targets exactly? You still do that with the Gyro as you would anyway but if it's a long arc you just rotate the stick at the same time as you go, right? That has to be better and more consistent than trying to only slightly deflect a high sensitivity stick, no?

@@tekgeekster Hmm, the way I set it up in Steam is pretty much default values all around (just adjusting the "sensitivity" to get 1 to 1 movement). So there's no extra filtering I use unless that's by default in Steam but I haven't really had any such issues with it. I certainly used just stick aim with Gyro quite a bit, it's made so much easier when you have a capacitive stick that enables your Gyro but I find myself preferring flick stick (with Gyro always on unless a button is held) anyways recently. I'm not sure which method makes me more competitive to be honest but I know which one is more fun. And besides I can use the face buttons on the controller with this method. (I know I could do that in the other method too but seriously, enabling the Gyro on capacitive touch is the way to go with regular stick + Gyro)
