You can so tell that he really loves her. Knowing he doesn't want to let go of is true love. I think out of all the Braxton's Brax was the only one who truly loved someone. You can tell by the way he acted with and even with out her.

you are 100% right, Charlie was his light and the first person who saw someone worthy in Brax, she believed in him despite all their problems, lies etc and she showed him the way out of the world full of crime, blood&death and it was not abt changing him, like some Charlie critics say, it was a journey, writers had that intention for Brax story - to get him out from the get go, even before relationship with Charlie, Brax was the one of all the brothers who truly wanted out, he wanted better future for Casey; Heath at the begining, like Brax said himself was an idiot and loose canon, he changed later; but Brax was always good man at heart, just caught up in a mess all his life, he was hanging in grey area not black or white, but thats what made him in my opinion the greatest character in Home&Away, his story was not simple, and with Charlie, who was sucked in his world, all that conflict in their relationship, fact that they had this goodness in common but also they learned from each other's opposite worlds - thats what made this couple unique and the best, waay more better than Ricky&Brax; and Brax never let go of Charlie, he said he will love her forever and never forget, here, he asked her for permission to move on with Ricky and he did, but not fully; Ricky was different kind of love, Charlie was once in a lifetime.

That’s what always annoyed me. Heath was vile to Charlie but was up Ricky’s arse most of the time! Horrible character.

Casey wouldn’t have been in prison in the first place if it wasn’t for Ricky. Heath was stupid to say he’d still be in prison if it wasn’t for her. Ricky put him there in the first place ffs! 🙄
