Clearly Tango, you needed to include a vector field matching to the moon's diameter growth per second and then use green's theorem to calculate the gradient of the field. That would tell you how the moon is growing and in what shapes. then you run that through a simulation using predictive modeling to identify possible outcomes. I surmise you'll learn not only that the moon is getting bigger, but which part of the moon is growing fastest

@Apple Ducky As an Australian that has studied some basic physics I'm curious, doesn't working in imperial lead to a lot of difficult and imprecise conversion? How do you work with stuff like the gravitational force formula which uses the constant G which is defined in SI units?
@appleducky52342 жыл бұрын
@@cloud_appreciation_society Here is my "make your head spin response" LOL. In America we do dimensional analysis in chemistry which is very helpful with this. There is no unit of mass in imperial so my professor would give us weight (pounds-Force) and we have to divide by g to get mass. F/a=m g and G are measured quantities, so it is not defined/precise/exact in any system (except a quantum system, but I don't know if gravity is quantized beyond theory, physicists are still looking for the graviton; smallest unit/particle of gravitational attraction). ALL constants must be converted so that their units match the system or units of other values you plug into the equation. for example, g: 9.8 m/s^2 x 3.281ft/m = 32ft/s^2 The conversions within the system are precise, just hard to remember and takes longer to do. Another weird thing is an Ounce is a unit of weight and volume and it doesn't convert cleanly to cubic inches the way mL converts to cubic cm, but most other conversions are exact like 12in/ft. Also, there are no units for charge, so I don't think it is reasonable to do any of electromagnetism in imperial. Maybe that's why we measure our outlet to be 120V instead of some weird imperial value/unit.

A wild and probably stupid theory that I just thought about: this season, all hermits live on the same continent, and at the very beginning of the season I remember Joe said something like “things outside the continent might be deleted” (I don’t remember exactly, but something like that). Now why would he say that? Well what if the moon comes crashing down, and the rest of the world is updated to 1.18, and that’s why they keep all the building on this one massive continent, so that could be left intact and the rest of the world is destroyed and sent to the next update. Like I don’t see a reason for joe saying what he did in the very beginning when all the hermits were together, but if the reason is to reduce how much of the world that will be left in the previous update it could kinda make sense, could it not? Alternatively and less likely is that it will blow up the current continent and take the whole world into 1.18, but idk. And it could well be other have thought/said something like this before, I’m not trying to take credit here, just for fun.

Part of me is still wondering if Xisuma just tweaked something with the server settings and this accidentally caused the moon to increase in size. He was going to fix it, but since a few people commented on it, he decided to just leave it and conduct a social experiment.

Scientific analysis sure is a good way to go, but it also won't hurt to throw your bed in the fires at the moon shrine and never sleep again. Will give you more time to work on a Moonfixicator as well!

Well, there is ice on the moon, which can be used to help make liquid rocket fuel. If you could turn the moon it self and propell it in the right direction, you could theoretically let orbital mechanics do most of the work of getting back into its proper orbit.

Lol mad props on the redstone, wasn't even aware that you could do that through the nether, I mean, I knew, just never thought of it! Dude what a trophy piece, well deserving of the 1 million marker man! Congratulations on the 1million marker, that's quite an accomplishment on its own! You deserve it for all the hard work you do, your the best redstone engineer for things I've never seen anyone else do, like the mini games on season seven, I'm looking forward to the next games! You are inspirational, And you deserve to know it

You guys know how the hermits got into season 8, their bed in season 7, and what are beds related to, sleep and what does sleep bring, dreams, but what else, nightmares, and what is season 8 hermitcraft, a collective fever dream.

The moment you focused on the moon my internet lagged and the video went in 144p, it must be a conspiracy!

I think this would be a good opportunity to write BUY AT BIG EYES on the moon. The world may be ending but at least you can get some good sales before hand.
