This song came out great! AI music is such a blast. Being able to write (or have AI write) silly songs and then AI makes the music, is a dream for those of us unable to play instruments or sing.

You don't need play instruments or sing, just study music and composition theory, midi editors and vsti... of course that ai music is way fast to be done, but is not you own music...

This is really, really good. Can AI really generate this kind of thing now without significant user input? Because objectively this is better than 80% of even the GOOD hair metal bands.

Thanks. Glad you like it. Well, I kind of "produce" the ideas that Udio gives me. By "produce" I mean carefully selecting ideas that would make a song I love as a fan of the genre. For a song to start sounding like this it sometimes takes ten or even more hours of generating separate pieces (Udio only generates chunks of 30 seconds). When I have enough good pieces, I often put them together in an external DAW (I use Cubase) because it gives me much more control. As for the lyrics - in most cases the auto-generated "metal" lyrics in "Udio" and "Suno" only revolve around two or three topics and use a very limited vocabulary so most lyrics sound the same. So they take some work too, if you want something decent. But as a whole, 10 hours is nothing if you compare that to the time and money you need to write, arrange, produce, record, mix and master a song with a real band, especially if you need other musicians to play or sing on it.
