I grew up in the 80s Living in the United States. The music here has gone down hill to the point where I just listen to my cd's I am glad I have youtube so I can check out what I will never hear on the radio.

I truly believe Sweden has been the hard rock/metal capitol of the world for like the last 15 years. The music/musicians from there is just pure/real/kick ass, and totally from the heart executed with style and attitude. In addition, they play their own instruments and write their own songs. I'm thinking rock music is taught in grade school or something, because it's done so damn well. Sweden, F.T.W. ;)
