This is an amazing show, I can't believe I've just found this today. One of the best well thought out sci fi drama I've ever seen and a fantastic vision of the future. There isn't anything quite like it. How can people not get it???

This is a really sad episode. More of it is coming together. I felt sympathy for Jason when I first saw him hop out of the bed, but how the corporation treated him is just brutal. I underestand his anger.

legally, jason is completely responsible under contract. But the lawyer also stated his opinion of him after, which showed his complete lack of interest for his welfare.

It isn't about being able to enforce a contract, it's about public relations. The mere chance that this could get out in the public arena would be far more costly than some hush money and a NDA. This is not a pharmaceutical trial where there is something wrong with the subject in the first place and the treatment might help them. This is an augment to an otherwise healthy person. There is a very different ethical standard involved and LPW would be aware of that.

I had a feeling it was going to be something like this. I had a suspcion LPW would be tied in with Jason, but I wasn't sure if it would be quite this direct. What a lovely company. It will be interesting to know just how they are related to H+Nano. Obviously, they don't mind seeing a few lives ruined to advance their interests, and the interests of transhumanism. I admit your'e right about that part. His risks were his own responsibility that he had accepted the outcome of his own will. Though that does not give the man the right to be ignorant of the fact that he is still a human person who desires to live (even if handicapped). He called him a guinea pig, left him to believe he has nothing left to live for, and was unapologetic about any of the circumstances. At the very least, a normal person should be forgiving (its a show, lol so its ok).

You got that totally wrong. He was a serial test subject for medicine or in this case, nanotech. Sometimes tests go wrong. Whatever you're talking about with a disease and immunity doesn't make sense.

Is this series some sort of social experiment by Warner Bros studios testing out their potential digital online future? The series is admittedly very enjoyable but the episodes are far too short. Having such short episodes isn't cost effective for obvious reasons during the editing and shooting but since watching each video consists of watching an advertisement every 2 minutes, you must be making a substantial profit from this. I now understand why you're so eager to thank us.

yeah H+ is something you need to watch from episode 1 all over again nearly every week. Too many characters, no way to remember names. So many holes in the plots...I like it, but it could be so perfect. The acting is great, too. More needs to happen...episodes being twice as long would help a lot.

I believe this episode was intended to increase our sympathy for Jason, and it certainly does, but the lawyer is not without a point. It is insane to do what Jason and others literally do, which is to trade their young healthy bodies in exchange for easy cash without considering the consequences. That doesn't make LPWs treatment of him right by far, but to me it undermines Jason's self-righteousness quite a bit. He played the game, he lost horrifically. As a result, he wants to destroy all tech?

I agree, it's a good series. However, the creators are making a commentary to get you believe that Luddite BS. Don't take it so seriously. It's just purely fictional. It's fun, and WB did do a great job with creating this series. It is even cooler that they uploaded it to KZbin and allow us to watch it for free, and in 1080p!. Just don't buy the Luddite ideology.

About to loose total interest in this series, great concept, great production.. terrible release timing, illogical order resulting in confusion that is appearing not worth the effort time and time again looking back to remind ones self what has to do with what and basically just poor development so far with not enough substantial plot development to keep me wanting more. Gota give the audience bits to grab onto to make them think and then understand and then think some more. So far just thinking
