@@TwiIight0 I believe so too. Because the original fanbase won't go anywhere. There is no such game quite like H and G... where also the RTS is connected straight to the FPS and so on. I think it could be such a hit if they can keep the H and G style and feel but just bring it to the Unreal engine 5

I'm rewatching all H&G funny moments on youtube right now. And I can tell you, this game was epic. It's sad how online dropped and servers were full of NPCs instead of players. And then they turned the servers off...

Started playing on 2015 but gradually spent more time for it since 2016 until 2021 when college overwhelms. Every now and then I thought I could go back to it to visit how well is it faring, almost immediately that I remember that their servers has long gone (May 25th 2023), a little bit inside of me died As the saying goes: Don't be sad that it is no longer there; Smile and be happy for it happened and you were there to see it happened

Although the game always had its detractors,but it still managed to impress many players. I thought I was whistling, or riding a motorbike and charging at tanks... I will never forget those days when I enjoyed squads with people from different countries... This is a comment from a JP player who started in 2016:) See you at H&G2.

It's still pissing me off that they just killed the servers off. The game was in a good condition. People kept playing it. They could have been developing the new version whilst the old was still running. I have put sweat and blood into some of the War matches. So many great memories. I wanna hop back into it but I feel like it's never going to happen.

They were operating at a loss for many years and there were many shortcomings, that's why they killed it off.

i miss it :( The developers could give the game back to the players, they (people, players ) would set up the server themselves.... there is nothing extraordinary about it. And if there was a need to contribute, someone would arrange it so that they would collect small contributions for the servers.

"Overconfident" TLM tried to milk the last bit of money from H&G and then just shut it down. RetoMoto wasn't the best dev team but it was TLM that killed the game.
