More than ever pertinent to our day, After the time machine it give us a very meaningful insight into HGWells feelings of dissatisfaction with his world. We still are just us unprepared, unprotected despite the clear dangers, most sophisticated than ever.

@@lewiskirk8289 I really really liked it! The way their perceptions of truth and reality versus his was painted perfectly by Wells. This is one I know I'll want to read/listen to again. And your clever narration brought the whole thing to life perfectly. Fantastic!

This book is a masterpiece. In the country of the blind, the one-eyed man is not king. He's abnormal. So if we try to change our world we face opposition from the powers thst be. The choices are pretend to be blind, let your eyes be blind or run away

I am French and I am learning English. In fact, many people learn English by listening to stories. It would be nice, if you spoke more distinctly, every word without swallowing them half. We would understand much better that way. Also, punctuation should be respected, there should be silences... It would be so good for foreigners.

Wells was a cynic, and I feel like this is the result of him reading about Plato's cave

The pronunciation of some of the foreign words is way too painful and distracting.
