This story is incredible. It’s about collectivism. How being blind is a beneficial/evolutionary adaptation and is natural towards perfection because you’re not afraid of the dark nor refilled with hope by the light. It’s an incredible story full of symbolism if you’re looking🙏

He could’ve proved that he had site or a special ability to them by just having them hold up a certain number of fingers or specific shaped objects while standing far away for example.

When I first heard this some years ago, already in my sixties, what struck me first that at my age why had I never imagined such a tale. It is so obviously simple, then I realized most of life is obvious once it is pointed out. It truly does take genius to be the first. On the subject of not having sight, I think the only object impossible to describe to a person born blind would have to be colors. Not necessary to enjoy life but what a gift.

The one eyed man is king, his problem was he had sight in two eyes. The double negative rule will trip you up every time.
