Oh! Do you guys know the math limerick? There are others, but this one's the most famous. [12+144+20+(3*sqrt(4))]/7+(5*11)=9^2+0 A dozen, a gross, and a score plus three times the square root of four divided by seven plus five times eleven is nine squared and not a bit more. :D

To add to what Grey said about Americans not putting the country on mail: years ago I mentioned to a person from Italy that I'd never been out of the USA. He called me a 'typical, arrogant American'. What I think people from Europe have trouble grasping is how FRIGGIN' HUGE the US is. I live in the middle of the country, and the nearest international border is 1,000 km away. That's London to Prague. It's almost as far as Warsaw to Moscow. We can't just hop into a car(or better, some form of mass transit which doesn't generally exist in the US), and cross several countries in a few hours. I have, in the years since, been outside the US, and I highly recommend travel to everyone who can possibly afford it. I think it really makes you appreciate the good AND bad of you home to visit other places. I just hope that people from other places keep in mind that international travel isn't a weekend jaunt for everyone.

See, I wish I could agree with Grey on books. I absolutely despise digital books. I don't like look at a screen filled with words. Audio books also drive me mad because I'm an extremely fast reader and impatient so I know I could way fast then the guy can talk. I also read very big books ranging from 200-1000 pages. I just like physical books more because I can flip pages and I tend to get books where the pages don't fight me to stay closed like my old math textbooks from school that hated to be opened. I also stare a screen way too much and reading a book is my only way to do something fun that isn't staring at an electronic screen.

The Easter Bunny hops along on its hind legs carrying a small wicker basket. The basket is magic and that is where the eggs come from. No poopy eggs!
@astra_m00n4 жыл бұрын
The Easter Bunny is an actual bunny, to me either yellow or pink and normal bunny size. But in our culture we don't have tooth-fairy versions of stories to make our kids believe with Easter, but more characters that make up the theme for Easter. We did paint and search for eggs in the garden, but you knew that you had to wait upstairs in the morning until the parents had hidden them.

I imagine the Easter Bunny looks like Peter Rabbit. Not person-like at all, but still able to grasp things in his little paws (like when he needs to hold a basket). Also he doesn't lay the eggs, they just magically appear around him as he hopps around.

The Easter Bunny was just a magic bunny to me. I never thought the eggs were actually from the bunny because it was a family event to dye them so I know I made them myself. As for hiding them, my family always had a huge get together on our great grandmothers mountain property where the adults would hide eggs in the woods and all the little kids would then run out and compete to collect the most, so yeah. I guess the easter bunny to me was just a cartoon character they made into chocolate and I devoured in the most horrifying way possible because I thought it was funny.

I am curious in relations to the lobby scenario as to the status of people rediscovered long since after they pasted. For example when archeologist discover tombs of ancient kings. As that would be a period in which they are remembered after they have been forgotten. do they get called back to the lobby. There was another thing I wanted to comment on but as I listened to the part I wanted to comment on during my drive to college I have forgotten.

In Germany, I think people consider the Easter Bunny looking like an actual bunny not like a man in a bunny suit, if i type "Easter Bunny" or "Osterhase" (German translation) on the first sites on google not a single picture of people in costumes show up, its all just bunnies, real ones and drawn ones.

Forgive me if this has already been covered in the comments, but as an absolutely un-sporty person from a very sports-oriented city, I almost cheered for Grey when he straight up told Brady that he didn't want to hear about sports. Sports people take for granted that they always have something in common with everyone around them and can just dive into it with anyone and have an exciting, stimulating conversation. As much as I would love to share in that camaraderie with my family and neighbors, I just... couldn't care less about the local sports team. It all seems like arbitrary nonsense to me. Seems like every holiday or get-together I attend, (with family in particular) everyone's watching the game and I'm like, "oh, okay, I guess this is what we're all doing today..." Heaven forbid I suggest something boring and irrelevant, like a board game. Not like I just sat through three hours of a football game or anything....

Here is an interesting take on the "purgatory until nobody remembers you" afterlife. What if this was the ironic hell for people who commit murder rampages in order to be remembered for something? What if the named school shooters, bombers, and hate criminals, who committed their acts so that they would be a household name and remembered after their death, had to sit stir-crazy in a purgatorial waiting room until the last person on Earth forgot about them? That would be some amazing divine justice.

What if humans attain immortality after Brady and Grey die. And some younger fans who won't ever die listen to the podcast for the rest of their lives as a peaceful memory of their past. Brady and Grey would be in that waiting room for forever, becoming morphed and warped into the raw personality the podcast embodies, and not who they actually are.
