The humblehug is def a called a bro-hug everywhere outside of Brady's mind.
@Dequda6 жыл бұрын
No. The bro-hug isn't the same as a humble-hug. The bro-hug doesn't include an explicit handshake, but a swingful meeting of each others palms continuing in an one to three claps on the upper back. The humble-hug is more frequently used across genders and age-levels.

Grey, with regards to being more interested in a title having a rating in it, I interpret it in the opposite way. You see, on Adam Neely's video it said "what is the slowest tempo humanly possible" and I wasn't interested. It just seemed clickbaity. But then in the thumbnail it said "it's 33 bpm" and that got me interested. Conversely if it had said "you won't believe what the slowest tempo is," I wouldn't have been interested.
@amanatee276 жыл бұрын
I strongly agree with this. There's so much time wasting click bait, it gets to the point of being conditioned to just scroll past it. But if you already give me a fact/detail that I know is interesting, now I'm willing to click to learn more.

I quickly wonder why people do the southern accent when trying to sound American, despite it not being at all what TV attempts to portray as the "standard" accent, but then I realize that Americans doing "English" accents are basically just the most exaggerated form of the cockney accent. I think it comes down to the southern accent just being easier to do, much like the cleaner, pretty sounding English accents are harder to do for Americans.
@liamgriffin2186 жыл бұрын
reNINTENDO he probably did that voice because it was Virginia which is more south.
@chillsahoy26406 жыл бұрын
I can't speak for others but that sounds about right to me (from the UK). When I do the southern accent, it's because to my untrained ear it's easier to pick out the more exaggerated sounds of that stereotype than to hear all the subtleties in the other (countless) regional accents. Conversely, I can see how perhaps the most exaggerated UK accents for someone who isn't used to hearing the small details, would be Cockney, a strong Scottish accent, and an extremely refined and posh English (received pronunciation or the Queen's English). "There isn't just one English accent!" but to people who haven't heard all the little variations in accents their entire lives, there pretty much is just one general accent and at most a couple of exaggerated accents. The same happens with other languages, where locals can pinpoint where someone grew up based on their particular accent, but people who learned the language later in life can only recognize the two or three most conspicuous ones.
@Huntracony6 жыл бұрын
Standard American English has become sort of the international English as well, so if you specifically want to invoke "American" a southern accent is probably the easiest to do.
@SkeletalSits6 жыл бұрын
It's kind of the same as people saying "British Accent" when that really includes welsh and scottish, which are nowhere near any english accent at all lol

You make a good point about airline monopolies. I've traditionally seen British Airways as the "pricey" option because in my family we used to travel quite a lot between London and Valencia (Spain) and years ago you used to have BA, Hispania, Iberia and, later, Easyjet. Nowadays there is only one airline that does a direct flight between these two not-too-distant European cities: Easyjet. If you want a different airline, you need to take a flight to Madrid or Barcelona and then a train or coach to Valencia. Basically, airlines have started spreading themselves thin so that they have little to no competition (assuming people want the flights to be as direct as possible) and now there is no distinction between prestigious, cheap or rubbish airlines: they can do whatever they want because your alternative is to spend an extra couple of days traveling via other slower forms of transport instead of getting on with your holiday.
@LunarDelta6 жыл бұрын
Speaking of things that developers hide in games, one of the best hidden gems I have ever seen was contained in an old Unreal 1 map. In that version of the Unreal engine, things like doors, elevators, etc were referred to as "Movers", and could be activated by linking them to icons (invisible when in-game) called "Triggers". I was in UnrealEd looking through one of the single player maps to see if I could learn anything from the developers' map-making techniques, and by chance I clicked on a door whose event tag was "Grandma" that was connected to a trigger named "sex".

here's how the locomotive leaves the station: the person paying for the locomotive tells the station master that they want to send this particular locomotive, that is kind of weird and painted in a repulsive colour, and is also full of stuff that everyone has already seen and doesn't want, to the general public. Even when station master keeps suggesting the better, fresher locomotives that other locomotive owners would kill for. "No," says the locomotive owner. "Send this weird locomotive that doesn't resonate with anyone and is also kind of useless. I need to use up my locomotive budget because if not, I'll get a smaller one next year. But I also need to use it up in an inoffensive way. So just send that locomotive. I'm sure if we send it to enough places, surely someone out there will want the stuff inside that they have already seen and have decided is not for them." "Okay," sighs the station master. "Oh," adds the locomotive owner, "My locomotive co-owners have some thoughts on the locomotive colour, we need it to be painted bright mustard. Can you do the repainting and get it out of the station by 5pm today? Also your station fees are too high, can we get them down by 30%?" The station master mumbles, "I'll get back to you on that." and wonders if it's too late to leave the station industry, maybe move over to the locomotive corporation side.

The humblehug (I've always called it a Bro-hug) is much simpler than you think. It's a method for two men to embrace while still displaying dominance. Its a Hug, no-homo. The easiest way to do it is to pull the other party into shoulder-to-shoulder contact, and use the extra momentum to swing the other hand around into a back-slap. A strong, fluid motion.

Regarding the response to someone letting You know they are getting a divorce. My personal approach would properly be something along the lines of saying "Oh, well... I'm sorry... or happy. What Grey hasn't thought about is that different KZbinrs have vastly different length videos. Someone making hour-long gaming videos would squash 4000 hours in a matter of days, whereas someone like 5secondfilms, whose videos are really short will struggle much harder to reach that level.
