@ILuvAyeAye
@ILuvAyeAye 6 жыл бұрын
I know I'm late, but I wanted to say that trying new things, and even awkwardness, can be great. But separate from that, I have also had times when I was so anxious that I didn't extract myself from not good situations, even when I could have and wanted to. I have no idea if he found that not good, or hurtful, or just awkward, and I definitely don't get to decide that for him. But the way he said it made me sad, maybe because of my own stuff. Thank you for all the nice replies! If anyone actually reads this, and relates with what I said too much, I can say that therapy and some lovely anxiety meds helped me a ton. And I hope you all get to try something new with a cool person (or two!), and that you feel comfortable bowing out early if you're not having fun.

My roommate who was studying engineering told me how she was the only girl in most her classes. I didn't believe her, so I went with her to a class and laughed so hard to see she was correct (I didn't stay for the class). I told her she should hook me up with an engineering student because I'm amazed by people with that level of brain power and dedication that can make so much happen in our world. She never did, though. It was sad for the guys, too, because she was gay.
