Thats correct if you are talking about the civilian exps-3. M231 has the same rating as a T2. Aimpoint does not gimp on their civilian offerings, which is a god send.

Hi, I'm a big fan of your channel but you never answer my questions. Can you please tell my the source you use for your German videos like for following statements from you videos: 1. there is a 5.45x45mm cartridge 2. the DP-26 is pure recoil operated 3. the 7.92x33 was the first intermediate cartridge 4. the 7.62x39 was the first Russian intermediate cartridge 5. the first AK mags were milled from full steel 6. the AK-47 was developed initially for 7.62x39mm and not for 7.62x41 ... and much more. I'm just asking because a lot of thing you say in your videos contradict German and English literature.

As a loyal German subscriber, please, please, please do a review of the Schmeisser AR! I've bought mine 16" Schmeisser last year and the first thing someone said to me when I went to the range to zero it: "Kinda cheap." Lol. I would love the perspective of someone, who has shot a number of different ARs, not just high end German ones to tell if Schmeisser is really "kinda cheap" or actually ok for that money. Please, make a German AR series of videos!

As an american. Owner of Colt(New production unfortunately), Geissele, Larue, BCM, and ADM rifles... the Schmeisser looks like butt imo. Not really for any reason other than the garbage handguard, as I don't have the hands on experience to tell much else about it, but the handguard is obviously cheap and crappy.

It looks like Schmeisser has a few different models, so not sure exactly which one you have, but a 1:9 twist barrel is a faux paus here in America. A 1:7 twist barrel is the standard and 1:8 twist for precision oriented barrels. Without knowing the details about the internals, there isn't much to go on. It could be comparable to a PSA Freedom, Ruger AR-556, or a S&W M&P Sport, but definitely not a BCM.

Regarding the European MR223 Rifles, they have a chrome lined Barrel. German H&K Website states the Match Barrels are "Hardverchromt". Checked on mine and the MR308 and G28Z too have chrome lining.

I think not a single person complaining about HKey or Keymod has actually read SOCOMs actual report on the tests. The differences were miniscule. People out here acting like it decides the outcome of a firefight. In fact recently the G95A1 (HK416A8, new standard issue rifle for the German Armed Forces) was spotted with both MLOK and HKey rails in testing. Now various reports are stating the Bundeswehr choose HKey over MLOK.

The MLok handguard was used on the UK Ranger trial submission (which HK didn't get the contract for). It is now available on the civilian market. I have one on my 11" MR223A3 (with a turned down barrel to the original profile to improve balance and handling).

I have MR223 A3 and I love that gun, had to buy aftermarket gas block, had barrel fluted to reduce weight, switched charging handle for one from radian and did few other tweaks here and there. It is a great gun and looks cool as hell as well

HK USA isnt lying when they say their phosphated barrels last longer than US mil-spec barrels with chrome lining, considering the barrel blanks they're using are mainland HK in-house unobtainuim barrel blanks. The military has already studied a decade back showing that HK barrels las the longest with Steyr's in second. All USA mil-spec rated barrels did not go past 10k.

While true that the Sig 55x series barrels are not chrome lined, they are nitrided. Per HK customer service, the MR is neither.

Hot take: I vastly prefer Aimpoint to EOTech, and I wish they'd bring back the FDE Micro. I also prefer HKey or KeyMod to MLOK. Yes, MLOK looks cooler, but its otherwise inferior. You need to Loctite the crap out of MLOK. After a match, I always find MLOK bits that fell off of the rifle, especially Lone MLOK T-nuts
