keep in mind that this is theoretical: The use of a black hole to obtain energy is a theory following our current understanding of black holes and the laws of physics, to better understand I want to propose an example when you throw a marble down a slope the ball will obviously follow down due to Earth's gravity, said this is also applicable to a black hole in which case it would send a particle or an object towards the black hole in such a way that the same object doesn't fall into that black hole, it would hitch a ride if taking advantage of the gravity of the black hole to gain speed so if you put a wall in the direction of this object it ricochets repeating the speed gain however every time this object loses a little energy/mass but in the end the object comes out with the best part of the deal. In this sense the object would gain infinite energy as long as the walls are capable of ricocheting the object as this is unsustainable it is necessary to use the energy gained from the object before it explodes. I believe this happens in GN drives, it's not necessarily complicated it just needs the right technology and understanding, the light emitted is probably the natural decay/energy loss of that process/object, again as long as it still has object circling the black hole it's technically infinite energy. Over time a Black hole absorbs anti-particles from "particle-anti-particle pairs that simply appear randomly known as quantum fluctuations" that makes it lose mass because only the anti-particle is absorbed and the result is that the regular particle is released and as such it's no longer a quantum fluctuation or virtual particle, it becomes a real particle and that particle is known as "Hawking Radiation". Yeah. Mini-Black-Holes evaporate super fast because they are about as big as quantum fluctuations themselves. However the super massive ones such as the cores of galaxies they last for a ludicrous amount of time. But still it stands to reason that quantum fluctuations are what eventually causes the death of a Black Hole. If such fluctuations didn't exist it would last forever.

I remember reading once that some fans speculated the GN drive involved something called monopoles, something that only could come into existence in extreme gravity wells. While the sun is a tad bit too hot for collecting, we do have another big boy in our neighborhood for it, Jupiter. And as for my own take on how GN particles can transmit thoughts, I believe it is simply a matter of the particles providing a medium by which brainwaves can travel through. I think every human have quantum brainwaves to some extent, it is only expressed to a greater degree in Innovators, and that the particles interact with this.

Most likely, third generations gundams didn't have the software to shut down Trans-am themselves, while season 2 /movies gundams were developped after CB got the know-how to do it and were able to integrate it directly into the suits

Arios, Cherudim, and Seravee/Seraphim are all Gen 3.5s 00 is the only Gen 4 Unit it must be a software issue and them not having the ability to shut it down was definitely one of the major flaws so the engineers and IT members had to find a work around it, which probably spend them 5 years

Yes, some Anno Domini love. I love the AD Mobile Suits, specially the Gundams. Bonis point for having the most unique and coolest final battles for both seasons. Losing in Season 1 then that last battle of Season 2. It was so cool that the one who encouraged the main charater be the final antagonist. Bonus point too for both of them switching to their first Gundam and Effing Ribbonz Almark being voiced by Amuro's VA.

I see it as delibarate on the part of the story. It was a mess because the perception of the characters in the story and the voewers of Tekkadan shifted in a different direction. About Trans Am operating times. think of it like that of a power in an MMO. you can let it run out as it is used but you could shut it off and save on the cool down times. by the time of the Exia repair 4 they began to figure out how to partially activate Trans am to specific condensers without triggering the full trans am ability.

In my school vr game 00 goalius has a major effect called gn cloak this is sensor invisibility and the biggest thing is that it increases ultra beast growth by 500% like 00 goalius is originally a ms class claxasaur but now he's a zeong class in 300 years and fyi it takes double that for it to be that big and also the gn particulars was used to increase 00 goalius mobility speed and reaction time by 500%

I'm normally a UC fan, but 00 was one of the really good AU's. It's first season can be seen as commentary on the dangers of global hegemony. The second season wasn't as great as the first season, but still good in its own right. Though the ending to the second season was very unprecedented, in that the upgraded Gundam's got so heavily damaged that to keep fighting, the pilots needed to go back to their older Gundams. Good video, by the way.

Well IMO, season 2 is more for the battle scenes, although at the near end, we have a full understanding of Aeolia's Plan. If you ask me, I think the message throughout the Gundam 00 story is the best in Gundam's history, it's realistic and fictional at the same time.

I'm a year late but I'll throw my hat into the ring. Not a physicist but my headcanon for how GN drives work is that it primarily functions based based on accelerated particle decay catalyzed by the monopoles (a hypothetical particle that acts like a magnet with a single pole theorized to exist in the fields surrounding a black hole) caused by the artificial black hole inside the drive. Some subatomic particle, probably a photon, undergoes its particle decay in a near instant; the energy released during the decay is then captured and we're left with the decayed photon or whatever GN particles are (maybe it IS the decayed photon). The TD blanket would then probably be more monopoles or some other exotic material created via particle acceleration inside Jupiter that somehow helps stabilize the catalysis of the particle decay instead of using on-board electricity to run a superconductor or something to that nature to serve the same/similar purpose.

the reason why Alejandro has the gold GN Armor and MS. I have a fan theory. The Creator of Celestial Being, Aeolia Schenberg had that gn armor and suit hidden on his moon facility for when he wakes up and finds all of CB betrayed him or CB wakes him up and needs his help. its possible the suit was built the same time as GNX Machines, but i hold on my theory that it was stolen and used by Alejandro in the final battle.

Ok here’s my take on the “fantasy” physics of the GN drive. Firstly, the GN drive is a perpetual motion machine, yet it does not at least in fantasy, violate the conservation of energy/mass. Secondly, GN particle is a particle of negative mass/energy (mass and energy are the same as discovered by Einstein), this gives it anti-gravity properties. Thirdly, Gundams fly via anti-gravity, meaning they are in fact always in free-fall whenever they appear to be flying, there’s no such thing as G-load for anti-gravity vehicles. The idea of the GN drive probably comes from Hawking Radiation, which is also related to the idea of zero-point energy. So if you had a device that just spews out energy/mass, that would be in violation of the conservation of energy/mass. Instead, physics allows the creation out of nothing, a pair of particles one with positive another with NEGATIVE mass/energy. Note negative mass is currently theoretical and NOT the same as anti-matter. So, suppose you could do this, you can in theory turn the stream of positive mass particles into energy, or maybe it just comes straight out as energy, maybe in the form of electrons or photons. The other stream, you could use for anti-gravity propulsion since negative mass/energy creates a repulsion gravitational field rather than attractive. This does not in theory violate conservation of energy because the negative particles eventually annihilate with a positive particle somewhere and disappears back into noting, as if you are borrowing energy from the universe, and it is paid back later by just any random particles you run into. As for how this plays into the pseudo GN drives, firstly I should mention that the second season and movie don’t follow the scientific settings nearly as closely as first season. You’ll notice in season no Gundam pilot is ever bothered by G forces even though the normal mech pilots are, and still can’t catch up to the Gundams. This is evidence of anti-gravity propulsion. But by season 2 they forgot about that and Gundam pilots are occasionally seen to endure at forces. Anyway, I think the basic idea is that the pseudo GN drives don’t produce the positive particles in a usable state, instead of being utilized as electrical energy, it's wasted as harmful radiation.

Fun fact, in the final battle of s2, exia and 0 Gundam were using each other’s drive. Found this fact on the Gundam wiki, probably not the most reliable but it makes for a poetic ending. Probably could fact check it by watching the first launch of the 00 gundam

If you look at the light spectrum red is infrared but maybe close to microwaves but intense infrared radiation is detrimental to you skin. Whilst ultraviolet causes several problems as well but I think ELS tech optimizes the drive at its core tech limits hence its color. Green Yellow Gold and Orange are different kinds of filters.

The ELS Purple GN Drive can have 2 possible theories: 1.) The ELS GN Drive can be considered as the perfected version of the GN Tau Drives 2.) It could also be a perfected GN Drive(Green color) due to 00 Raiser’s assimilation With regards to why ELS never showed using Trans-Am is probably due to their physiology as both machine and quasi-energy organism. Its possible that using Trans-Am will overload themselves, like a continuous pumping of adrenaline that cannot be stopped

AFAIK, ELS never assimilates the original GN Drive, only the Tau version. While it is true that ELS did assimilate 00 Raiser, the 00 Riser didn't use the GN Drives in the Movie (It uses GN Condensers). So ELS's GN Drive could not have the TD like the real GN Drive has. As to why it is purple, there might be a third explanation. The energy source for ELS's GN Drive is not Electricity. So the color changed to whatever energy source it is using (maybe Gas?). Since it doesn't use Electricity, it cannot activate Trans-am like normal Tau Drive. Also, the 50 years after the War with ELS scene shows us that there are mobile suits using green GN Drive. So, the green GN Drive is basically the perfect one.

You know there's similarity between GN drive and Ahab reactor. Both absord partikel from around it to create spesific partikel (GN partikel and Ahab partikel) to supply energy. So in my opinion, both of them is similiar but also different. GN drive can't be pushed too far more than it limit, but to close this weakneaa they store GN partikel that can be release to increase it peformance when Ahab reactor is abit different. They can be pushed to the limit with no worried of it destruction but with a minus that can't use extra Storage system like GN Condenser and also need a strong frame or energy transmission for it.
