These beautiful ladies look like they have been the authentic veteran hula dancers before Hawaii got contaminated by out side sources. I can imagine it was a clean place of Heaven. 😇💌💌💌🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺

These ladies have not all been studying hula for a long time, but their kumu (teacher) has taught them the traditional songs and hula movements of the past, and they are dressed in costumes from over a hundred years ago (very covered up because of American missionary sensibilities). The song was written in 1955 and this is considered a "modern hula."
