What a wave of nostalgia, seeing this pistol. What good condition for its age. I started my shooting career in 1974 with one of these, as it was easier to cock and aim than the FWB model 65 and 80. My finest hour with the pistol was 5 shots through one hole at about 5 metres inside our garage. You can close the hole completely with a single pellet, and that target is still with me. The Master version had the longer barrel and could use the 12g cylinders if I recall correctly. We did add the auto bleed rear cap from the Master to our Single to avoid low pressure shots. Enjoy a wonderful little pistol.

It's a fantastic pistol, indeed! It's incredibly simple in operation, and gives enough shots on the smaller cannisters! Thank you for sharing your history with it, and I absolutely love that you still have that target. There's nothing quite like those days! I've kept a target where I had 5 shots through the same hole with my Daisy 880 at 10m. I don't care if it was luck or a once-off, it happened, and it felt awesome! Thanks again!

I have two ...longer barrelled versions....the Hammerli Master. The whole mechanism is pushed out through the barrel....after unscrewing a large screw cap that the CO2 canister sits into. It's actually very easy if things aren't seized or over tight. Changed all my seals and both guns work flawlessly now. Very slim and light pistols, so they can be hard to keep steady in the hand....but very very accurate!

Thank you for the informative Video! These guns are not hard to work on. I hope you managed to seal the leaky one in the meanwhile? Do you happen to know what muzzle velocity I should expect from a Single? Mine seems to be perfectly sealed, but at 18 °c it rather rips the card insread of punching it, if you know what I mean.

Well at least you can modify the extra gip and still keep the pristine one if you want to sell it on later.

Yup! I'm going to try build a dodgy make-shift mirror CNC ... thing... and then try replicate lefty-grips. Keep the pristine one pristine, and fix up ol' limpy with the grip and new seals. Target practice is fun, but airgun mechanics and the excuses they give you to investigate different things are even better.

Nice video 👍 Shame your in Sweden, as I could help with that missing cocking knob

Thank you, that's incredibly kind of you! I'm slowly whittling away at a piece of aluminium cylinder with a file to try recreate one, it'll probably end up looking like roadkill, but practice is practice.
