My father died on friday after easter (3 days ago), unfortunately a week too late for resurection it seems. He regularly took us to see Handel's Messiah performed when we were children. He left us no instructions at all but this was his favorite piece of music and i've decided on this at his service and on the inscription - "for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth" Revelation 19:6 - on his headstone (which is, of course, sung in this piece). I'm not religious but my father was very much so, and i shall honor my father this way, and respect his beliefs.
