The wake turbulence separation requirement between EVA105 (A330) and JAL3629 (E170) is 2mins, given that they depart at the same point on the runway. An extra 1 min is required if the E170 takes the intersection departure. Therefore, the controller asked JAL to take E13 full length (2 mins behind EVA) rather than E10 (3 mins behind the EVA), that allowed the controller to launch JAL in that gap.
