That’s why most all Straits settlement houses are the same style. Chinese have been intimidated to call themselves Chinese by the British masters. Now, Singapore governments, Chinese politicians, will do everything possible to eliminate ANYTHING ‘Chinese’. Especially now USA is anti-Chinese fanatically, Singaporeans see it an opportunity to continue their path to a brand new ethnic race, fathered by Indians then speaking Hokkien English. I am a Chinese American. Even in this difficult time, nobody in USA expects me to denounce my ethnicity.

Logical Analysis !!!! 70% votes is 1,700,000 voters. The whole Singapore should be celebrating island wide. Celebration is confined to his former ward only and nowhere else. So far those appeared in his celebration is less than 3000 (less than 0. 2%) combined, where are the remaining 1,697,000 (99.8%) of his voters ????? Reality and 70% vote win gap is massively huge. Highly suspicious !!!! How to believe he won 70%??? Statistically n huge reality gap does not make sense at all. Unless there are reasonable explanation, its hard to accept or believe this election result !!!

A majority win for tharman is believable. In fact expected. Bcos the other 2 candidates pale in comparison. Had pritam singh, for example, stood for this election, then the result may be very different. It shows that the electorate is mature and sensible, willing to put our nation's interests above politics.
