How far is that distance for the paddle?

Less than 1 mile. But the water conditions change with the tide.

Do people camp further down the beaches as well? What is the water like after that sandbar?

Yes. There are campsites all over the island.

Have you ever kayaked down to hammock island on the other side of the island if so is it safe enough, what conditions are best to do it and how would you go about it safely.

@@Hydrayak My brother and i have been scavenging the internet for all the content we can get on it so its appreciated. We will see you there. Any recommendations on bait and and tackle to bring? I was just going to bring a bunch of frozen shrimp and take it from there.

Any issues with break-ins when parking overnight or for multiple days?

I have not had any issue with that. But, I can't say that it does not happen.

About how much is it to park for 3 days? What about if i bring a trailer?

It’s about 30 or 40 bucks the last time I checked. The city has increased rates over the past several years. I don’t recall any “no trailer” signs.
