Looks amazing! What software are you using for the motion?
@Rotor-SimsАй бұрын
@beninkypoo1749 Thank you for watching! Latest vid on my channel you can really see the movement. For the platform I'm using FlyPT. I'm currently a beta tester for Departed Reality Sim Manager which for users will be much easier than FlyPT and no subscription like Sim Racing Studio.

Are those RS Mega+ actuators you have on the rig?
@Rotor-SimsАй бұрын
@petersaint8851 Hi, yes RS Mega. The plus is for those that want a 6 port Thanos. I didn't so mine is just an RS Mega 4U. Thanks for watching!

Cool, but why are the actuators so far apart? It gives much less angles like that! On my rig I get 10⁰ pitch and 15⁰ roll...
@Rotor-SimsАй бұрын
@tronicgr Hi, I'm still working on FlyPt Mover and tweaking settings. I quickly tried an old vr headset and found I do not need much motion at all they create the realism. In VR the motion is tricking my brain into thinking the rig is moving alot more than it is. I know that the actuators ideally should be less than 1000mm apart. (They are 1000mm and front to back and about 1400mm left to right) The nose of the rig also extends beyound the platform about 1'. Currently at max travel and angle its about 1" from the floor tilted forward.

@SIMRIG412 Not with mix reality definitely not. Being able to see the cockpit via pass-through is going to be incredible.

where did you get the frame from? that looks awesome. if DIY do you mind sharing files?

Superb, looks awesome moving around. I hope I'm not teaching you how to suck eggs but assuming this is MSFS there is an option to remove the cockpit panels and displays for hardware setups that have such devices for real like this, General Options > Camera > Home Cockpit Mode 😉

@SIMRIG412 I still need access to test the rig. Currently dialing in the motion platform with Sim Manager and I'm doing a tear down in 4 weeks and rebuilding step by step. I have it all planned out.
