I chopped it quite a while ago and the 1000 and 800 just improved in fun and performance. Turning gets super smooth and tighter if you want. No extra nervousness. Lil lil more speed and I find no disadvantage in lift. Do it! The best tuning. The H 800 shines with it. Still my favourite foil of all times.

Yes. Thank you... You write more roll and speed with same glide and pump. How does it effect the take off on foil? Would you recommend it with the H1000 to help it get more alive?

Hi... I also have the H1000 (and in near future the H800). By cutting the stab smaller will we glide more/ longer or turn faster/sharper? What is actually the purpose of cutting the stab? Is there a flaw in the design?

No. Stabs were bigger in 2022... There s a little more stability in the roll. That's it

Do it. I bought another second hand h180 to cut it. Never used the old one :-)
