Hello Yudi, I am currently working for a Profit company which outsources me to Non profit research organization , I want my employer to file a cap H1 for me , instead of the cap-exempt H1B. They are saying it is not possible to do so , as my work location is at Non profit .There are no proper articles about it. Can you please ask this question. Thank you .

The another issue that I am currently facing is: I came in USA in 2012. I have always worked for a cap exempt organization since 2014 + I have a NIW approved in 2019. Now I want to work for cap subject organization. I cannot switch directly. I have to go through lottery, and even if I go through the lottery H1B filling is on April 1st but they start on October. How is this transition ever possible ?
