Hey Nate, I would like to take a shot at answering the questions you had in previous videos. First great job on the Biogas journey and you think about safety and that's great. So I will answer the question in order. (1.) What happens when my inner-tube is full? One thing you can do is put a check valve on the tube line to the Inner-tube to prevent gas going back to the Digester. You can use on for rated for Natural Gas or there are ones that are rated for ( Natural Gas / Oil / Water / and Air) you can get them at Lowes and Homdepot or should be able to get them in reg hardware store. (2.). Can you run a car on biogas? Can anyone point me towards someone who is doing it? I will explain all of this on in a little different way then you are asking. Ok, so Biogas is also know as (NG) Natural Gas. The short answer is yes you can run a car on NG / Biogas. It does need to be clean I would say to do so. An that Process I would say would not be a tremendous job. But it needs to be compressed to help with storage for the vehicle. Compressed Natural Gas is (CNG) there are cites that run buses on CNG and I know in Athens, Alabama there is a CNG Station by I-65. I can try to research it more to find Cities and people doing this. (3.). I would like to liquefy methane and run a furnace/car on it. is anything I just said illegal? afdc.energy.gov/fuels/laws/NG. Here is the Website that can answer or at least point you in the right direction. The site has a tab of where you can look up your States Law's on most matters like this. (4.) Where can I find a 8500psi + vessel to store liquid methane? You can buy Vessels for this but they are very expensive. I believe if I read right they are called or like LNG ISO tanks $10,000 20ft. I now turn to cleaning the Biogas to deal with H2 gas. Note: I have not done this but I'm also on a journey to do some of what you are doing. I'm in just planning stage. From my understanding you can do at least 2 things in combination. (1.) Do Water Scrubbing / Bubbler. (2.) Then allow the biogas to be filtered through a (BioChar / Charcoal) AKA Carbon Filter. This should take care of most of the bad stuff I would think. Hope all this helps and fill free to reach out. I have also subscribed and will be on the watch out for new videos. Great Stuff!!!

Thank you sir for this insight. I have found CNG kits and that is the way I am probably moving now. I understand that a check valve would stop gas from flowing backwards, but I'm wondering why pressure will not build above 2psi. What happens in the barrel when I get to 2psi...?

@@BiogasUSA I’m thinking you have a leak. It’s not enough to lose all that pressure but enough to maintain 2psi. Example: if you are producing 3psi of gas and losing 1psi you maintain 2psi. (3psi gain - 1psi lose= 2psi maintain) Take a spray bottle with dish soap and water a spray it all over to try to find the leak. If it’s leaking you will see bubbles. Check the inner tube also. Also when you open the slurry valve. The slurry should not come out like that, meaning it should not pour out by pressure. The slurry should only come out when you put feed stock in or at least that’s my understanding. Reference solar cities bio-digester here on KZbin. Hope that helps! God Bless!

Thanks Craig, me too. I seent you got a flow hive. That's weird. I'm a beekeeper also.

Where did you get that H2S tester?

Have you thought of adding carbon dioxide scrubber material to h2s bubbler. A little calcium hydroxide or sodium hydroxide in the water should do the trick to decrease co2 content. Anyways not experienced in this just a thought. Good luck with your ventures.

Hey Mark. Someone did suggest mixing sodium hydroxide into the water to react with the co2 after I had the gas analyzed. I have already implemented this and I can't be sure, but I think it's working. I'll know for sure this spring when I can have the gas tested again.

If you want to see if it’s working add a bit of the pool ph testing drops to your mix,it will start dark green and change to orange when it needs to be changed the sodium hydroxide is done

Hello is it just pure water or the water has has chemicals I am with you on this journey and thanks a lot for sharing the videos.

This is just pure water. I have another video about bubble filters where I talk a bit more about what I have learned.
