I love that trisha mentioned everyone's a mental health advocate until its ugly because that's so true. I have bipolar disorder and gad its not cute its extremely hard and yes sometimes it can get ugly, but i try. (Everyone's experience is different and its ignorant to be like i can do it why cant you. I would never tell someone well I have blah blah blah and im way better than how you deal with it. That's doesn't help anything but create this idea that you're always supposed have all the answers. Mental illness or not we all mess up and its shitty and impossible to expect everyone to know the "right" things to do just because you do.)

I try to stay away from going on social media and blowing up and I try to leave the situation before saying hurtful stuff. She doesn’t try.
