The brain does weird things sometimes when trying to cope with trauma, and I don’t want to speculate too much, but you don’t have such a strong opinion on the matter (in this case that oral sexual assault isn’t...possible? @Blass it really is among the most triggering shit I’ve seen in a long while but can’t you skip that part without having to skip the whole podcast? unless maybe you’re just listening? ideally I think they should put an obvious TW before the clip, together with a timestamp to skip it. in a way I think it’s good it’s being shown so people really see the extent of keems behavior, like it’s so bad that’s it’s quite unbeliveable unless you see it honestly. but I do think it’s too triggering to just casually throw in there and I understand what you mean

I’ve been a police officer for 8 years, & with me being a woman, I typically pick up reports regarding SA since a lot of female victims (and some male victims) feel more comfortable speaking to a girl cop about the details of the SA. And when Ethan said that, my jaw dropped because it was the best response I’ve ever heard to someone saying “Well, he/she didn’t say ‘NO’! Like... why didn’t they just LEAVE?” I literally starting clapping and teared up when he said that because he managed to describe something that I’ve never been able to put into words myself. People k!ll other people with just their bare hands... so it’s possible to SA someone w/out a w3apon being present. Mad respect to these two for speaking so openly and bluntly about these issues. It NEEDS to be talked about in an unfiltered way like this. And I hope more people start to speak up about how rampant SAs are in our society. I want more women to feel safe coming forward. And if a cop brushes you off or if the cop makes you feel uncomfortable, ask to speak to another officer.

As an SA survivor and an extremely strong woman, I have never felt more frozen with fear than when I woke up from a night of drinking with a strangers hand in my underwear. The ONLY reason he stopped was because, by a fucking miracle, an alarm for work on my phone went off even though I didn't have work that day. I am never one to be scared to tell someone how I feel. I am one hell of a confrontational woman, but when that man decided to touch me without consent and I woke up to that feeling... I couldn't even fucking move. I was disgusted with myself for a long , long time-that I froze, and didn’t smack him, thanks to idiots like this who spread this kind of rhetoric that it’s your responsibility to fight this shit off. when Ethan said Jake is literally a weapon himself I started balling crying. I don't think I have ever heard a man genuinely understand how unsafe we feel everyday. it may seem like a simple statement but to me its the first time I felt a man was putting himself in a women's shoes before speaking about what he doesn't know. Its always felt like men, or the masses, have an easier time with convienience and unfortunately its more convenient to say "Jake wouldn't do that" then to admit we have given a platform to abusers. That being said, thank you Ethan and Trisha for actually speaking up for the brave women that have come forward. I know I am not just speaking for just myself when I say you are making a difference, even if its just educating those who've never had to be an 100 pound women in a room with powerful men.

As a woman who was SA’d in my sleep, being woken up to someone touching you inappropriately is SHOCKING and of course you’re thinking “What’s going on? Is this really happening? What do I do?!” It’s scary, and for Keem to sit there and act like it’s the woman’s fault that this shit happens....is really frustrating.

What some don’t understand is that it’s quite common for ppl to pretend to “be asleep” while being touched inappropriately/sa’d in bed. It’s a trauma response of not understanding what’s happening and not knowing what to do.. it was a fucked up way of me trying to act like it can’t actually be happening to me. Our brains do fascinating things in order to protect us from trauma. Keemstar is so ignorant; he has no clue what he’s talking about
@CarpetStainRemover3 жыл бұрын
Jeff dealing with serious head trauma being told to forgive David is just beyond devastating. Concussions FUCK with your mental health on top of being laid up in bed, healing a broken HIP AND FOOT and a fractured fucking skull it’s just so scary. He is so not through this situation and it’s abundantly clear. Goddamn this is so truly deeply upsetting.
@pepgirl12343 жыл бұрын
he was absolutely reckless with his LIFE. if u care that little about someone that u put them in such an incredibly dangerous situation u are a shit person. i dont think what he did should be forgiven and forgotten

David is a reckless idiot but Jeff willingly put himself in that situation. They're both morons and should be cancelled forever, with peace and love.
@princessbuttercup59283 жыл бұрын
The extent of his other injuries aside from his eye is horrifying. I mean, his skull shattered in nine places, he’s SO lucky to be alive. That’s heavy as fuck to carry with you in so many ways. I know he’s mentioned feeling stupid and embarrassed a lot, and that’s a really heavy emotional burden on top of all the physical pain. Jeff’s whole life has really changed and I feel for him. I can’t imagine what that would be like :(
